Highly Skilled and Professional
At my appointment with NJ Retina (Larwenceville, NJ Location) I was attended to by Dr. Friedman, who reviewed my medical charts very thoroughly before proceeding with treatment and took the time to explain how the displayed graphs evidenced the degree of my AMD. His injection proceeded smoothly and diectly, with no disturbing moments. As an added 'benefit,' Dr. Friedman has a quite engaging personality, resulting in an excellent experience with an obviously highly skilled practitioner.

Excellent bedside manner
I have a real phobia about retina exams so I will only go to a doctor who is very gentle, patient, and understanding. Some doctors will force your eyes open which can cause injury. Dr. Friedman is very gentle. I refuse to go to anyone else for my retina exams.

I saw two other doctors at NJ Retina previously. After those two visits, I almost decided to see a doctor at Wills Eye hospital instead or give up any treatments. But my friends told me Dr Friedman at this group was very good so I decided to give it a try. During this visit, Dr. Friedman patiently explained to me and cared about my fear of an eye injection. When he was injecting to my eye, I did not know he was doing it and had no fear. He wiped off my prior terrible experience from another doctor. Now I am willing to continue the eye injection with Dr. Friedman only. He is truly an outstanding doctor. I told him that he must be an Angel sent by God. I never wrote any reviews in the past but this time I would share my experience in case someone is scared of an eye injection and seeking a caring doctor.

Dr. Friedman is a wonderful doctor. Very kind and calm explaining complicated retina issues, highly skilled and knowledgeable about the newest treatments. Having WMD is frightening but I always appreciate my appointments with Dr. Friedman.
