Excellent care!
Dr. Eliason is thorough and professional. He explained everything clearly and has an excellent staff as well. I had a colonoscopy and was pleased with all aspects of my care. Top notch!

Rushed visit, no times spent with patients
Had an appointment with Dr. Eliason for a colonoscopy and he spent very little time explaining anything. After the colonoscopy he came in and talked with my boyfriend while I was still asleep and spent about 1 minute explaining things. He told him that I might have crohns and then said he would call with the results and that was about the whole interaction. He didn’t explain anything about crohns and was very short with questions. He didn’t even call me after the appointment to explain results, someone just read off of my pathology report and explained nothing. He stated that i could follow up with a PA if i wanted, not even with him. when I tried to make an appointment to see the PA it was booked out 3 months. So I have no plan of care for my issues and can’t talk with him. I am switching providers and do not recommend him as a doctor.

I felt incredibly rushed, cut off when attempting to answer his questions and didn't like being pushed toward medication before the procedure began. I'm assuming that his PA and himself may need to do far better at communication/patient history and concerns before beginning. It was an interesting and frustrating experience.

If your looking for a doctor that actually cares, will get back to you about test results, and is interested in finding out the underlying cause of your problems, look elsewhere. After 3 appointments with Dr Eliason, not only did he fail to call me to discuss test results he'd ordered, but he completely blew off all my concerns, and his only suggestion was to put me on a medications I'D ALREADY BEEN TAKING FOR YEARS and was listed on my active medications list, he hadn't even bothered to look at that to see if I was already on the medication, or if it would interact with anything else I was taking. Worse patient care I've ever received at any clinic. Highly recommend against.

I only saw Dr. Eliason once, he seems to know his stuff, but is rushed and does not take time to answer questions or discuss concerns. He wanted to take me from Asacol to biologics without trying in-between medications. This seemed extreme to me, may work for some but not for all. If a biologic does not work, your choices become very limited. I thought it was great he wanted me to reach remission, but his approach was too much for me.
