Excellent surgeon
Dr. Kanlic did a revision for me, and it was like a miracle! He is compassionate, brilliant, and a fantastic surgeon! Very up to date with technique. I would definitely recommend him.

He is very caring doctor, spends time to explain
Although he is surgeon, first he try to find and see if surgery is the best answer I like the fact that he doesn’t push for surgery first

In August of 2018 Dr. Kanlic did a right shoulder replacement. Very poor results, never had any more than 35% active range of motion. Later diagnosed with a "contracted" shoulder, also further test showed a infected prosthesis. Had to have right should re-done, with old prosthesis removed and a total reverse done. Worst possible outcomes.

I went to see Dr. Kanlic for pain in my knee. He spent 5 minutes, tops, in the room with me; his diagnosis was arthritis. I disagreed with this, and mentioned it to my family doctor. Upon her examination, she felt I needed an MRI. The test revealed I have a torn meniscus, and a cyst and water on my knee. It’s not arthritis.

I found Dr. Kanlic to be very kind, caring and knowledgeable. Listened to my situation and then explained in detail what was going on with my knee and what to do in the future as to avoid any surgery.

Dr, Kanlic has horrible bed side manners, he is rude and clearly out of touch with the patients he sees and the severity of their needs. Will never refer him to anyone. Also make sure that when you book an appointment with another doctor in his office that they don't conveniently not inform you, that it has been changed to Him... Call on the day to make sure the original appointment stands. Better yet find another Dr/ office all together.

My husband and I were treated by Dr. Kanlic after serious accident. He also treated the lady who hit us. My elbow was dislocated and my he had two broken bones in his wrist. The lady who hit us also suffered severe injuries. Dr. Kanlic took care of all three of us. He left my arm in a cast for almost three weeks. Too long. When I had my follow up, he went on and on about what a wonder family the gal had. I asked about physical therapy, he said I didn't need to run up her insurance. GRRR

I should have known to do research on a doctor before even going to see him. Dr. Kanlic should really think about taking a communications and a humanitarian class. He is one of the rudest doctors I have come across. He has no beside manners. He tries to make one think that their pain is all in your head. He accused me of making my pain up because of another condition that I have. He lied and said nothing was wrong with me when I have been dealing with osteoarthritis for years.

Dr. Kanlic was disrespectful. He implied that I was lying about past treatments and doctors. He assumed he knew my intentions based on my income. He accused me of insisting on unnecessary surgeries when I implicitly expressed that I never wanted any of them. He caused great pain in my knee during examination, ignored the previous MRI, cut me off every time I tried to speak, and said I just need to lose weight. I was hit by a car. The injuries are real.

He was passive agressive and was rude about my other treatments I receive that we’re unrelated to my appointment. He had no knowledge of my rare chronic illnesses but felt he had a right to judge the treatments my specialists have chosen. He lectured me about using marijuana for my pain even though I don’t want to. I would not recommend him to anyone. He didn’t care what I had to say and kept interrupting me. In result, he wouldn’t listen to anything I said.
