She is a sham! She encouraged me to get a partial thyroidectomy advising that my second opinion didn’t know what he was talking about (she was my 3rd and final). Regretfully, I listened to this woman because she was rated highly at the time and turns out the 2nd opinion was actually correct. Do yourself a favor and find doctors who actually care about your well-being and will take the time to look at and understand your labs, most of them look at the wrong information. This one included!

She doesn’t care about her patients or the concerns they raise- she will see them once then never answer or check on your labs or anytning. She told me to get labs done and I got the date but she forgot to sign off. She ordered another test and never sent the order. She doesn’t answer any phone calls and neither does the office or her nurse. She takes new patients just for the sake of it and neglects them after. I called for three weeks to speak to her about my results and the only thing she told the nurse to tell me was to not come back.

Dr. Veeneman just fired me as her patient because I did not make appointments with her every six months, but I was not aware I needed to do so. My last contact with their office was on the my chart portal and it was indicated that the office would contact me to set up an appointment and I never heard from them at all. When I called after I received the letter from her, I was told that the doctor felt I needed to find a doctor who was a "better fit". I am not impressed and there are other specialists in her field that I feel would have to be a "better fit" for me than her.

Dr. Veeneman is an absolutely horrendous physician. 1) She refused to speak to me over the phone to explain her diagnosis (or lack of) and care instructions. The nurses could not answer my questions, so I asked for the doctor to call me back and I did so on multiple occasions. The doctor absolutely refused. I was told I needed to make another appt and come in to discuss something that could have been done over the phone. 2) She didn't do anything to resolve or even attempt to address my chief complaint! She essentially said to keep doing what I'm doing and follow up in 4 months. CLEARLY, what I was doing didn't work, which is why I came to her for help. What did I need a follow-up for if she didn't change my care plan at all? On 9/4/19, I advised their office I would not be returning as a patient - after only 1 visit. To this day, the only follow-up I have received from her is a letter "terminating" our patient/doctor relationship, a letter dated 9/30/19, which I received on 10/8/19.

I can't get in to see this doctor until July and I'm not what I would consider a new patient. I had this problem before, so I'm not that surprised. I have a hard time believing I'm unable to be seen until 4 months from now especially when all they do is take blood and go over the results.

My Dr left, had to find a new one. My husband found Dr Veeneman online. Took a chance. She never asked me about any symptoms I was having, she felt of my throat for a minute. I have other medical conditions, I tried talking to her about my symptoms. She said it really didn’t matter what was causing the problem, if the blood tests were off, she would treat me the same way. Didn’t try to find out why my thyroid had stopped working, just said it didn’t matter. Would have personal call with results

I am on thyroid meds. I have a port, I have other medical conditions and my veins are terrible. They didn't have supplies to access my port. They did get a little from a vein, not sure if was enough to test. never asked what symptoms Im having but, said needed to work on thyroid meds, maybe not working well with other meds i take. I probably needed non generic, I got a call in a few days from a receptionist, told me to keep taking my meds, come back in 6 months. Didn't do anything she said I need

Waited 6 months for an appointment only to be told when arriving at the office on appointment day that she can't see me for my needs even though I explicitly made them aware of my needs when making my appointment. To top it off they looked at the computer screen to tell me that so they had already known but failed to contact me so I could make an appointment elsewhere. Now I'm back at square one and NOT happy!
