I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks ago. I arrived 10 minutes early, the staff was very nice. I was told Dr. Slate would b late. 20 minutes later, I was told she's still in surgery. I understand things happen, however, I was sent a 3 text messages from WestMed confirming my appt. Why is my time not important? Why was I not informed that the Dr. was held up in surgery? WestMed has my phone number to remind me of showing up and confirming. It's just NOT OKAY! Infuriating. There has to be a better way to take care of the client.

Was referred to Dr. Slate by Dr. Jashti for trigger finger. For weeks, I suffered with stiffness/ locking present in both my hands. It was unbearable. Dr. Slate discussed a number of treatment options, last option being surgery. She was good about hearing my concerns and reassured me that the procedure would go smoothly and it did! I received an injection which helped substantially with the inflammation and stiffness. She built my trust and I would consider her for any surgical procedures

One of the worst experiences I have had with a physician. I took my teenage son there to examone a badly sprained finger and She was over an hour late for our scheduled appointment. She provided little to no useful information or treatment/ The waiting area was like the one at the DMV. I strongly recommend against Dr Slate and Westmed. Westmed is clearly a large commercial enterprise and not a healthcare provider.
