The Best
This doctor was thorough, answered all of my questions, put my mind at ease, made me feel very listened to and informed in my care. Not only that, but she was skilled at what she did and she made my cancer go away !!!!! the process of checking into her office was efficient and easy and comfortable, and I was very well taken care of by her whole staff.

Excellent Experience
I have been a patient of Dr Ruiz for several years and have had nothing but a positive experience. In addition to Dr Ruiz being very professional, she is kind, friendly, a good listener, very supportive and compassionate - always putting her patient’s needs/concerns first. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Emily Ruiz , The best Mohs Surgeon
I have been a patient of Dr. Ruiz for almost four years. Under her professional and excellent care I have had approximately 10-12 Mohs Surgeries. Dr. Ruiz explains every single procedure, is consistently kind and supportive. Because of her commitment to her patients, I have benefited greatly and am very grateful. I honestly pray for her nightly. I highly recommend Dr.Ruiz with no reservation.

Very unhappy experience
This is about Dr. Ruiz and her unprofessional behavior, dishonesty and attitude. She is changing my surgery date back and forth without a good explanation. She said it had to change again because she was now planning to take a family vacation even though my surgery was scheduled more than 2 month ago. I have already changed my working plans due to the previous change. I feel disrespected as my schedule was not considered by her. When I was trying to communicate with her, she talked without letting me speak from the moment I pick up her call. She gave me options of changing to other doctors to do the surgery, or I cancel the follow-up radiation therapy which is part of the treatment! Not because it was deemed medically unnecessary, but only for her own convenience. When I questioned her about being professional, she accused me being aggressive and hanged up the call. This is not the way for a doctor to treat her patient while it is not even my fault to change the surgery date!

What could be improved
