Terrible service from her. Wrong info given
Let me add I love the staff at Lafayette Regional Health Center, which she complained about during my last visit because they weren't HER staff. She certainly did NOT like me advocating for myself. Claimed there was not a difference between fibromyalgia and MPS and were the same disease. She probably should have read ANYTHING from Mayo, they seem to think, as does Medical News that they share similarities but are 2 separate conditions. Would not return insurance phone calls to refill my non opioid prescriptions for my RA according to my insurance company. Returning to my previous Rheumatologist and will not change to keep records streamlined ever again. Huge mistake. No option to not give a star or she wouldn't have gotten even one.

I will ALWAYS recommend Dr. Larson
Started seeing her at a young age for joint pain and have since returned after moving around. She has always listened to my concerns and answers every question I have. We’ve been through many treatments and she is patient but aggressive in the course of treatment. I can tell she always has my best interest at heart by the way she takes her time, is kind yet frank when it comes to discussing the issues at play and listens to my comments and concerns about my health. Most times I wish my appointments were longer so I could pick her brain because there is so much information to know and learn! I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for care!

My 2nd visit with her was awful. She made me feel like a piece of trash. She walked in the room and the first thing she said, very rudely, was the only thing we are discussing is the the things I treat you for. She was in the room for a total of 1-2 minutes. I was not allowed to speak about any new issues that I was having problems with at all. I will NEVER see her again at all.

(Con't from last review) put me on. I was in a lot of pain and mad at her recommendation when she knew I could not afford that So I cursed at the person. It wasn't personal but I should not have done that. I was going to fire her but she beat me to the punch. Would not recommend a doctor that is so sensitive but I am the patient and I am the one in pain. I would have given a zero but site don't let you. Move on I wish them all the best.

I was referred to Dr. Larson because of a positive ANA. I went in thinking I would actually get to explain all my symptoms and possibly get some answers, but I couldn't have been more wrong! Not once did she even talk to me about my pain and kept cutting me off when I tried talking pretty much saying nothing was wrong. Her notes she entered in the system seemed like she was annoyed I was even in there and thought I was making up everything because I think something is wrong with me!

I was referred to Dr. Larson by my PCP, due to several symptoms & positive lab for an autoimmune disease. She made excuses as to why ALL my lab work was abnormal & blamed everything else on weight. She didn't once ask what my lifestyle consisted of, she just judged me from the start. I told her of my swelling, pain and stiffness...She didn't examine one body part, but had the nerve to say everything was fine on my office notes. No response after her tests showed damage. Horrible experience!!!
