I was diagnosed at 12 with epilepsy and was told there were only three types of anti-seizure medication on the market. The first two didn't work so she prescribed me a medicine (Keppra) that had a blackbox warning (FDA warning) and failed warn me of this. The drug made my seizures worse and she adamantly denied any suspicion from my parents that it might be the drug. My seizures got to the point I had to be admitted to MUSC to detox from my maxed out adult prescribed med levels. Never again.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Foster?
Dr. Foster is wonderful. Amazing bedside manner and she is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately, her staff (nurses) are lacking. Do not expect to get any timely test results, even if they are abnormal (even if you call regularly it could take a week+ to get a return call). When a nurse finally does call you, you are guaranteed to get a flippant attitude and a lack of any desire to help you or your child. This is not an isolated incident it has happened multiple times.
