Saw her when I was a teenager, she talked derectly to me and took the time to listen and figure out what I was telling her, my favorite doctor out of the ones I've seen

Brought our baby in for a well-child visit (which is covered under our plan), informed Dr. Chao of our child's pre-existing condition, & that she is seeing a specialist elsewhere. We received a $300 bill later because Dr. Chao called this "additional services" even though she was not treating her for it. Our previous pediatricians NEVER did that. We filed an appeal and Kaiser stood by her side saying "The American Med. Assoc. permits billing". We feel cheated and have dropped her immediately.

We have all three boys (3,7,11) that see Dr. Chao. She is an excellent, compassionate doctor. she is direct and takes the time to get to know the boys and we have been seeing her for 3 years. The staff from the front desk to the nurses are awesome. We feel welcome and know we will be well taken care of.
