Miss her
I was a patient of Dr. Collin’s at Trinity Health Endocrinology. I found Dr. Collins to be very thorough. She treated my Type 1 diabetes and osteoporosis. She was a wealth of knowledge. She treated me very well.

Office staff
Front office staff at the desk seemed to be near tears, frustrated and angry. Assuming that is why she was so rude to me.

Dr Collins saved my life a few years ago and I’m still a patient because she wants to stay on top of my condition. Recently, my daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. He onocolgist left to her to find a doctor so I asked Dr Collins if she could see her. Dr Collins moved her schedule around to accommodate her. Again, she saved my daughters life as she was in dire straits. Dr Collins moved her medication around and got her ready for a new oncologist. This Doctor is all about her profession helping people. I’m sure she has helped many who were in bad condition. As a side note I found Dr Collins from one of my coustomers who got me in to see her. I can’t say enough. This woman is literally a life saver.

Dr. Collins has followed my borderline or on/off parathyroid and another condition for almost three years until she felt sure about my idiosyncratic patterns and that I would be all right. I found her competence, breath of professional curiosity, attention to detail and superb communication skills unmatched by any other internist/endocrinologist I have seen on three continents I have lived on in the past. My husband, a current patient of hers, shares both my experience and opinion of Dr. Collins.

Was referred by pcp. This Dr is a proceduralist bannering pharmaceuticals. Her demeanor is anything less of warm or attentive. She cant seem to listen to the patient. Her superiority complex presents like a chip on shoulder. I have a Masters degree in Nursing and have enjoyed a long standing medical service career. This physician is a black eye for healthcare industry because she will medicate patient before gathering factual evidence within 5 mins of meeting new patient. My experience anyway.

Ask yourself if you would want to see a doctor who doesn't put patients first? She put her pride over a patient. I was referred to her because by my PC and it took a month for someone to return my call only to tell me that she wouldn't take me because I saw a doctor 2 years prior in the practice. I had no problems with that doctors. It just wasn't a good fit. Patient care needs to be a priority! I am sure I will find a doctor and practice that puts patients first.
