I have been under Dr. Embar's care for more than a year. I find her to be a careful, accessible, and thoughtful clinician -- perfect for the sorts of illnesses that require long-term monitoring.

If you need testosterone replacement therapy do not go to Dr Embar. It is standard protocol with Testosterone Replacement Therapy to have blood work at 6 weeks to check for elevated estradiol levels. Embars nurse refused to run this test (would only order CBC???) even though the elevated estradiol was pushing me into Hypertension stage 2. I never had HBP before treatment. I'm filing a report with the TN Medical board. Run don't walk to a different Endo!!! Embar will cause someone to stroke out.

Be very careful with Ramya Embar Srinivasan MD. She is an unethical doctor who lies! She lied about the test she wrongly ordered for me, without knowing how it is administered. She for no reason ordered Radioactive Iodine Uptake test. The test ruined me. And she said it was an injection, but turned out it was radioactive pill I had to swallow. Avoid her at all costs. If you see her record her conversations. Because she will lie to you.
