SO SURPRISED! I read a lot of reviews to guide my decisions and quite often when the rating is poor, I will filter the negative comments in favor of those who actually share experiences. I would like to share mine with Dr. Abuhamda and his staff. Allow me to preface that Dr. Abuhamda has performed an endoscopy and two colonoscopies on me, so my experience is not a one ride rodeo. THE DOCTOR - INITIAL VISITS: I found him to take his time, to be very engaged, and readily answer any of my questions, asking if I had more and always with a most pleasant demeanor. Abuhamda is a smart fellow who again may not be cuddly, as some have alluded, but he obviously knows what he's doing and that is exactly the kind of Doctor I want venturing into my body. THE OFFICE STAFF - Over 2 office visits (Despite Covid) and numerous telephone conversations, I have found every single person that I have dealt with in Abuhamda's office to be polite, patient, friendly, with a sense of humor and caring.

I had a very bad experience with this Doctor. At the beginning of this year I was experiencing bad symptoms of diarrhea, loss of weight and weakness. I made an appointment with the Dr. but had to wait about 6 weeks for an appt. in spite of me telling the nurse practicioner about my symptoms. After seeing the Dr. he said my pancreas was probably not producing digestive enzymes anymore but he had to run some tests which he scheduled several weeks ahead. In the meantime I still had to deal with my symptoms without medication. I lost about 50 lbs. during the total wait time. He eventually ran the tests and confirmed his original diagnosis He prescribed prescription enzymes. I took them at the dosage he recommended but they helped some but not enough. I called his office & spoke to the nurse pract and told her I needed an adj. on the dosage or something. She said there was nothing the Dr. could do and to go to the emergency for help. The ER could not help & said to find another GI Dr.

Dr. Abuhamda was uncaring and condescending. He was arrogant and did not answer questions. He never went over results of test after he prescribed them. I would rate him with 0 stars if that was a choice. It was a horrible experience.

Rude and condescending, with zero bedside manner. Stay far away. Staff is amazing, though.

Wow, shocked and saddened by the care of this doctor with an elderly patient who suffers with memory issues and walking issues. An 8 minute exam is not an exam (especially for the first time). Some of the staff is rude too. Would not recommend. I would rate a 0 if I could.

Dr.Emad Abuhamda, was so rude & unprofessional its sickening. I had a colonoscopy done by him at Holy Cross hospital,& was discharged by a nurse without him seeing me first.i had to wait until Monday to call his office to speak with him & was told to make an appointment for Wednesday. Now I'm at the appointment & because I'm asking a lot of questions pertaining to the procedure,he gets upset & says I'm complaining & he's gonna ask me to leave. I would NEVER recommend anyone to see him,NEVER!!

I found Dr Abuhamda to be uncaring, arrogant and not at all empathetic. He seemed to discount everything that I said, which to me seemed like he was not believing me. He seemed irritated that I had seen other doctors in another state. He showed no concern about my complaints of pain and offered very little suggestion or hope. The whole appointment had the feeling that I was interrupting his day and that he had better things to do. The whole experience was quite exasperating!

I was seen by the dr a week ago and was told they would be authorizing a CT scan through my insurance company (24-48 hrs). A week passes without any phone call. I call requesting a phone call back. In the meantime I call my insurance company to discover they never even sent the pre-auth for my CT scan. I receive a phone call back and am told by the lady that she is extremely busy and will get to it tmrw-ya know because my pain for the past week is no big deal. Never again will I go there.
