Dr. Elwyn Cabebe was my Mother's Oncologist. My Mom passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, 2020. She would have been 86 in April of 2021. She had early-stage lung cancer and had undergone targeted radiation treatment for 3 weeks at the Stanford Oncology Center near Good Samaritan. My Mom had COPD, Congestive Heart Failure, and Arrhythmia. Rather than recommend that she do nothing, Dr. Elwyn recommended radiation as an option. About 3 weeks into the one-month recovery after the radiation, my Mom died from heart failure. While the ultimate responsibility for doing the treatment was my Mom's, she was not a good candidate for this type of treatment. Given that the cancer was early stage, the appropriate course of action would have been to leave it alone and just monitor it. Also, no one from Dr. Elwyn's office called me after my Mom passed. I have not heard anything from them. I would not recommend Dr. Elwyn Cabebe to anyone.

I would never recommend him, he has no bedside manner, very cold and not empathetic at all. His office was depressing and he seemed more concerned about getting to the next patient.

Dr. Cabebe took me through Stage 3A Breast Cancer - 6 years later I am cancer free. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 3A NSCLC. While my prognosis was not good at the time, today, I am Cancer free. I can not recommend Dr Cabebe highly enough. I have heard it said, you don't care how much they know, until you see how much they care. My entire family feels a deep gratitude for Dr Cabebe and his entire Staff.

First and far most I am writing this review for Dr.Cabebe. Well to start off dr.cabebe was my mom's oncologist. . I definitely do not recommend anyone to have him as an oncologist. He is the worst doctor. He diagnosed my mom with stage 4 lung cancer.when he came in the room to give us the bad news he tells my mom ( you have stage 4 lung cancer ok I am not going to sugar coat it for you ) my mom was devastated.he gave her no hope.so we changed oncologistoncologist and are extremely satisfied

He doesn't think outside of the box, doesn't believe in alternative forms of cancer treatments. BTW: Many people and some doctors now admit Chemo and radiation may cause more deaths then cancer.
