Dr. Eloise Skelton, MD

I began seeing Dr. Skelton in 2011/2012 for issues I was having with my cycle. She took the time to really listen to what I was experiencing and worked step by step with me to determine what the root cause was. She was also very conscientious about making sure that all the i's were dotted and all the t's were crossed so that there would be no issues with the insurance company when it was determined a hysterectomy was needed. She made sure I understood all of my options, and didn't hesitate to offer a referral for a second opinion if I chose to get one. Her follow-up care after my hysterectomy was excellent, as well, making sure I had the time I needed to fully recover before going back to work. I enjoyed her dry wit and no-nonsense attitude, she treated me as an equal instead of an 'overemotional female' as male physicians had done in the past. She does not suffer fools lightly, and I admire her even more for it. She changed my life for the better and I am eternally grateful!

Dr. Skelton was friendly and knowledgeable. She put me right at ease and she took time to give good explanations and answered my questions.

She was checking my my Herpes status, i.e., if I needed more or different medication, etc.

Went to her once and that was enough. Prescribed the wrong medication and after I picked it up it was ‘oh sorry that wasn’t supposed to have been sent’ $140. later. Didn’t prescribe my normal medications. My doctor of 30+ years had retired was my only reason for being there. Never again!

Very friendly. Makes time to listen. I got my referrals the next dsy!

Dr. Skelton, while kind, is not a doctor that I will return to. She does not listen & is quick to brush off symptoms with simple solutions, even if those symptoms have been ongoing and the "simple" solutions have been attempted. Additionally, she is far too "casual" in her setting. When I visited I was told my clothes were the reason for my symptoms (which has already been ruled out by a different doctor) and told that my I didn't need to "dress for my husband," which also was absolutely not true - I was wearing shorts & a t-shirt that day. Regardless of what I was wearing, her clothes were dirty and she seemed like she didn't want to be there. I know we all have bad days but this was not the confidence I needed. I returned to her once out of necessity & even that visit didn't go great. I am finding a new OBGYN currently.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Skelton since 2017. Since going to her I don’t want to ever have to go anywhere else. She’s a great doctor!

Heartless doctor. She shouldn't be practicing medicine. A lot of patients will suffer.

I love Dr.Skelton! I have been with her for almost a year and enjoy having her as my obgyn. She tells you how it is and works with you to fix the problem or answer any questions you could have. I will answer have recommended her to friends and family.

Everyone was very friendly and understanding.. Was not a long wait Dr skelton was very helpful and caring she made me feel very comfortable i recommend her very much.

She is very nice& through with her patients. I feel very comfortable when I go in her office

I had a good experience with Dr. Skelton, I changed doctors during my pregnancy at 21 weeks and she helped me though my third trimester, i was very comfortable during labor and she was a great dr. to explain things to you.

I HAVE BEEN TO HER TWICE. SHE IS NICE. I LIKE HER.

I am now having a high risk pregnancy due to her negligence of finding I was anemic and not treating it. I could kinda feel dizzy and I asked multiple times how my hemoglobin was I always got the same answer it was fine. I started going into preterm labor due to a fever and babies heart was dangerously high. She sent me home. Finally I went to a different hospital got all the results I needed and was finally treated. Now I'm at loma Linda with a doctor who actually knows what she is doing.

I saw her 5 years ago, had been miserable for several years with adhesions from fibroid tumor surgery.. She said it was probably time for a hysterectomy. I was so grateful. I thought I'd have to beg for one! It took over three hours b/c I was so messed up! She is a saint and probably never gets to hear it. Oh, and my husband was so nervous about the surgery he asked about a billion questions, it's stressful going under the knife, sometimes all the questions in the world aren't enough.
