Dr. Elliott Franks, MD

Been going to Dr. Franks for years, however as of late some issues have arisen. I submitted FMLA paperwork and it was returned with incomplete fields by Dr. Franks & colleagues. Called 6 times and counting to his offices in KCMO and OVPKS asking for an addendum. No response. He only works half days now, so good luck getting in if you are a working professional. Also, don’t be five minutes late attempting to find parking in their lot, unless you enjoy lectures. At 30.00 to 45.00 a pop for records, form requests, and other paperwork required for folks, they would be more accurate in returning these items & sensitive to the reasons people need them.

I am pleased with his service. Dr. Franks has been my general practice physician for many years- probably 20 or more but I lose count. If I wouldn't recommend him, I would have had another doctor many years ago. He has helped me through a variety of injuries and conditions and has been patient with me throughout this time. I am doing another review because I somehow left a 1 star when I meant to do a 5 star and I can't find that review to edit it.

My son made an appointment online and filled out a lengthy "reason for visit". After seeing Dr Franks for probably less than five minutes he was told ... we don't do ... I will refer you". We got billed $204 and never got any further contact from referral or follow up from Dr. Franks.

Punctual well informed and easy going Professional and a good listener. Too bad he is part time

Dr. Franks only needs to do annual physicals and standard referrals for me. He does these well. His staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr. Franks is very personable, understanding, and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was only in waiting area for 5 minutes before nurse call me back to see Dr. When visiting Dr. He was very nice and courteous. Was concerned about my well being. Went over other tests with me was patient while I asked questions. I really appreciate Dr. Elliott and thankful I found a Dr. that meet all my needs.

My family has trusted Dr. Franks for years. He has always answered questions or concerns in a straightforward easy to understand way. As a secondary, if you have a 3:45 appt., you are in the exam room a 3:40, and Dr. come in at 3:45. I have never had to wait for hours in a waiting room.

I asked a friend for a recommendation last year. I know she adored her doctor. Dr. Franks is wonderful! With many different health issues that have occurred in the past year Dr Franks was correct in each diagnosis. He is smart, friendly and caring.

Annual check up. He is very conscientious and follows up with his patients if needed.

Always well taken care of by nurses and doctor.

I have always found Dr. Franks to be understanding and listens to my concerns and recommends treatment where he can.

Dr. Franks always patiently takes as much time as necessary and listens sincerely. Then his advice and action has always solved my problems

Appointment scheduled one month in advance. I was going to be late, I called the office and was told I had to reschedule. I said ‘are you serious?’ I was only five minutes from the office. The clerk said she would ask the doctor, and I was told the same thing. I have several chronic issues and driving is not easy for me at this time. A doctor refusing to see me for this is ridiculous. It was late afternoon and if Dr. Franks is like this, he should retire. I won’t see him again.

Dr Franks will answer all your questions and give you the best advise. Very professional ,will tell you just the way things are and will not sugar coat anything. Great office staff

Dr. Franks takes the time to know you and listen. If you have a health concern, he will help you find answers. My husband now sees him as well. Be aware that the practice expects you to arrive early. Rarely do I wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Dr. Franks does not stack his patients, but he does try to give you his time.

DR.Frank's has been my DR for 20 years I would not trade him for anything he is a very good Dr.he takes good care of me and he keeps me well Thank you Dr. Franks

As a fairly long-term patient, I can recommend Dr. Franks as a caring, follow-through caregiver who tries to help his patients to help themselves with realistic, often simple, less obvious solutions to our health conditions. At the same time, he is “there” for me and my family to meet any need!

Doctor Franks is very concerned about my health.

Dr. Franks has been treating me for years and I just admire him so much. He is the BEST !!
