Dr. Elliot Cazes, MD

The sweetest person ever! He has the right mixture of humor and seriousness when needed. He makes me feel very welcomed, seen and heard. He listens to what I say and offers multiple options to what I can do for my issues.

I do not recommend this doctor. He did not listen my concerns. I saw him several times for an issue that did not get resolved. One day he prescribed me a medication that he told me he had prescribed me before, but I did not recognize the name, so I asked the front desk to speak to him before I left the office. He did not come out to talk to me, and told the receptionist that the medication just had a different name. When I picked up the medication, it was not the same as before, and it caused me to have a great deal of pain. He then refused to talk to me over the phone or make any sort of effort to resolve the issue. In previous visits, he was dismissive of my concerns and made me feel uncomfortable. I will not be seeing him again.

Staff is no longer professional and causes many problems communicating test results, prescriptions, and call backs. Can't even communicate which insurance he accepts until after you show up for an appointment.

Dr. Cazes has been my OB for 4 years and he is absolutely AMAZING. He was my mom's OB doctor when she was pregnant with me and him and his staff are so helpful and friendly. He was beyond wonderful during my first pregnancy and I wouldn't trust anyone else to be my doctor.

I have been with Dr Cazes for 8 years. He is professional, very caring, and takes good care of his patients. He is a teaching Doctor who I know future Doctors will be professional and caring like him. His staff are all awesome.

I have been going to Dr. Cazes since I moved to Tampa nearly 20 years ago, I now live in South Tampa, but the drive is well worth it. The review above concerns me. As someone who works in a physicians office, I know that for a Dr. to “dismiss” a patient says much more about the patient then the office. From experience “dismissing” a patient is almost always related patients who just.don’t.follow.instructions, mistreat the staff,or don’t pay bills. This office and staff are AMAZING!

Excellent physician, I am continually referring friends and family. Dr. Cazes delivered my daughter and is now caring for her with her first pregnancy. Great bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable. Clear, concise, honest and transparent with information. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Dr. Cazes is a very friendly and caring doctor. I was very impressed by his office staff and bedside manners. I highly recommend his practice.

Despite some negative reviews I saw on here I was very impressed. He and the staff are extremely friendly. He takes the time to explain everything, answer every question, and makes everything as quick and easy as possible.

The WORST experience of my life. Rude front office and even ruder, horrible, and uncaring Dr. Saw him my entire pregnancy and then at 35 weeks that Dr. Cazes has dismissed me from his care as a patient and refused to provide me with pre-natal care. Paid all bills for the previous year, and Jan 4 was informed I needed to pay the total 1K deductible for the upcoming year up front that same day (for services not yet received). I wouldn't wish Dr. Cazes on the worst person in this world.
