Dr. Ellen Gelles, MD

Dr Gelles was incredibly judgmental, almost rude. Instead of asking questions, she made many assumptions. For example, when I stated I believe I may have an urinary track infection, she brushed it off then told me part of the solution is to drink less caffeine. We never talked about my caffeine intake, which is little to none. Turned out I did in fact have an infection. I brought up another very serious issue that was diagnosed by another doctor I trust. She simply dismissed the issues and my related concerns, even removing it completely from my chart. She spoke down to me, making me so terrible I cried after the appointment. Absolutely will never go back.

She addressed all of my questions and concerns. Very professional and friendly.

She listens and takes a patients' experience into consideration. She is friendly and compassionate. She has been a lifesaver to me. I would recommend her to anyone!

Very attentive, intelligent, and helpful. I like her approach of fewer medications the better. You have to be on top of things and bring an organized list as with most Dr. offices, but she will make the time to answer and address every question throughly.
