Multiple rescheduled appointments
This doctor wasn’t listening to my medical issues . I went with in with an open mind after seeing previous reviews but after testing and visits no results were sent to me but only to the insurance company. I felt like my health wasn’t being addressed. I will be getting a second opinion now.

Dissatisfied and disappointed. MRI showed small lumbar tear and chronic DDD changes. Waited 2 months for Workers’ comp agreed to pay for treatment and almost an entire month in pain to see Dr. Ballard. Told me this was a common finding in people of my age and that I should not have any pain because people have tears all the time and they do not even know it. Want me to go back on full duty now. Never prescribed any medication other than PT and dry needling. She goes by how far I can bend over and do not listen to me. Never spent more than 5 minutes with me. I feel ignored completely.

I visited her for multiple work related injuries. She was very rude and many odd animal sounds while she was examining me. She does not listen to those she is evaluating. She also has very rancid breath. She struck me a little too hard when checking reflexes. She also acts if she doesnt believe me. She should have her license revoked and be assigned to trash detail at a hospital.

This was the worst experience. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. Practicing medicine should be against the law for her. Good riddance!!

I was seeing a hand surgeon that made international news by being on the team that did the first three (3) hand transplants. He stated the only relief I would get was surgery on the ulnar nerve. Workers' Comp. sent me to Dr. Ballard. I had reservations about going to her based upon the reviews. However, W/C insisted that I MUST go to Dr. Ballard. She ordered an MRI (which I didn't need because the issue was 'nerve' not muscles, tendons or ligaments. I asked her what her recommendation was and she advised me that she couldn't tell me - that she would tell W/C. Per W/C Dr. Ballard advised them that I was not going to get any better than I was and there was no need for surgery. Therefore, W/C denied the surgery. Who would you listen to - a doctor that is in W/C's pocket or an international acclaimed hand surgeon??? It is a waste of your time to go to this person. If W/C sends you to this doctor - it is time to hire an attorney!!!!!

I wouldn't let Ellen Ballard wash a dead body. She needs to be shut down. She told me that I was fine go back to work with bursitis and a torn rotator cuff. I couldn't do it so I lost my job. She is definitely paid by company'to tell injured people they are fine. We all need legal counsel for this.

I saw Dr Ballard for an Independent Medical Exam. Independent isn’t the word I’d use. I never claimed my ankle was perfect. She kept focusing on an accident that occurred years before. She wouldn’t allow me to refocus to the injury. The only thing I have going for me is two MRIs . I have not received the report but I know she’s going to disagree with my treating physicians. She was cold and kept leaving the room. Each time she returned she’d ask about a prior incident. Also I felt her questions had nothing to do with the injury. Why does she need to know my entire family history she isn’t my doctor? I was honest about pain levels but she wouldn’t let me explain the pain progresses as I am on my feet through the day. She left me suddenly and a nurse case manager came in to tell me we were finished. I hadn’t finished.

Terrible, doesn't listen to anything. Doesn't care what the patient has to say feels. If she can't get the procedure she wants done, she kicks the patient back to work not at 100%.

I have had chrome disease for 25 years and have been through the mill as far as doctors, pain, near death experiences and serious injury related to this. I had to see her for a workers comp evaluation (sent by the workers comp insurance obviously). I have been in rooms with groups of interns looking at my most personal parts for years. THIS WAS THE MOST UNCOMFOTABLE I HAVE EVER FELT FROM A MEDAICAL STANDPOINT! Very rude, condescending, smirky, just plain unprofessional!

I really wish I could give her a 0. She's rude, and condescending. She will tap/hit you in your affected area. She is very short with you and snorts at you when you give her answers. When the appointment was over she opened the door and said leave now. The nurse however was nice and took her time.

I would like to give this physician zero stars. I would not recommend her to anyone. I hope she gets her license pulled from her for she is a sorry joke of a Dr. As to what pretty much everyone says about her not carrying about her PT's at all and what they are really going though is true. She works only for workers comp companies to help them get out of paying for treatment. When I saw her she crushed my damaged hand. Plus drilled me for having a college education, like it's a crime.
