Not for long term care — will leave you anxious
Dr Yepez is an aggressive doctor. She read my labs after her first time seeing me and was able to determine specific treatments to positively impact my quality of life. That aggressiveness plays out differently long term. Because of her quick ability to make determinations, she will also suggest life changing options for you without proper knowledge of your body and needs and this manner feels very impersonal and is not always the best decision for you individually. Additionally, if you are looking for a long term physician to build a relationship with, she is not this doctor either. Her approach is impersonal. If you check in with her between appts, ask questions, she will be unavailable, dismissive towards any issues. Be careful when dealing with Dr Yepez. The reviews across many channels are accurate about her approach and manner. I wish i would have read them earlier before believing she was a longer term option for me.

I had such a bad appointment that I was too anxious to see a physician for 4 years. Blamed all my concerns on being overweight. When I told her I had issues even when I wasn’t overweight, she told me she can’t say because she doesn’t have a record of my weight then (it was my first appointment with her). I could not believe she was both dismissing my concern and saying I was lying about my previous weight and symptoms. Basically told me to lose weight then she would treat me.

I have had two visits during my pregnancy with Dr. Yepez. She was late to two appointments. Nevertheless, I understand doctors are jam up with their appointments. The biggest disappointment I had was during my recent visit I have expressed my concerns about my pregnancy and on going symptoms are getting worse to Dr. Yepez. She disregarded my concerns and refused to do more testings. I remembered from my visit she told me I  MIGHT be dehydrated but she didn't want to do any lab works or additional imagings at the time. On top of that during my last two visits, she had the medical student to check my fetal heart tone ONLY. I have never seen her use a bedside US at the office to look at my baby once, even though I have expressed all these concerns about my pregnancy. That's automatically a red flag there. If I can't trust her in my most conscious stage and how can I trust her with me and my baby life in my most vulnerable stage.

Was very readily dismissive. Did not take the time to listen seriously or really even empathize with my symptoms. I didn't feel heard. I didn't feel like she gave a worthwhile conversation, or really even the vaguest interest. It was a very bad experience.

Waiting time is more than 35 min. She is very quick to dismiss patients. Does not follow through with patients, huge let down. Had a better impression of Doctors at Rush Hospital.
