Dr. Elizabeth Weingarten, MD

I was a patient of Elizabeth Weingarten for over 15 years. I consistently complained of pain and on disability with severe hip arthritis. I also complained of changes to my body that have now turned out to be microalburin urin-this site won'tallow the correct name. I had a heart attack last week at 52yoa. All these things could have been cared for and prevented at a much earlier date if Weingarten had only paid attention to the things I was saying about my body. She ignored me she dismissed me she treated me like a liar like a faker like a hypochondria. I am now sick unable to care for myself and all alone after close to 20 years of begging her and her Pas and her nurses and her staff to pay attention to me. IVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR WEINGARTEN'S FOR OVER 10 YEARS and I've found she always meets my needs. She doesn't push me to do things I don't want to do but will carefully explain the rationale behind recommended procedures. I can be stubborn. She never loses her cool with me. The front office staff is a bit annoying: if someone asks me my birthday one more time I'm going to shriek. The nursing staff is excellent, they have improved exponentially over the years. I'm totally comfortable with them and the response time is fast

Dr. Weingarten is wonderful. She is very confidant in her assessment of your situation. I know of many patients I respect her including me.

Dr Weingarten is an outstanding doctor. I have kept her even though I live a half hour away now. She always takes the time to make you feel important and not just rush you in and out. She is so warm and caring and it really shows in every visit. She has helped me so much.

Weingarten will not own responsibility for her patients' health outside of basic parameters. One abnormal lab result, you're off to a specialist - for the rest of your life. Need an 'off-label' med - a safe, reliable decades-old one? Off to another specialist. Her knowledge of recent research is lousy. My health is excellent, yet I now see 4 specialists a year while Weingarten checks my bp & runs labs twice a year. The medical indu$trial complex in this country owes a lot to docs like this one.

I am a regular patient of Dr Weingarten and have come to know her as an excellent, caring physician. She always has the time to explain medical conditions to me and is available by phone or email to answer questions. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a thorough, insightful doctor.
