Very poor communication skills and allows her nurse to make erroneous timelines and provide improper rehab information. 8 days following stent surgery, I had a follow up with her nurse. They took my blood pressure, heart rate, and told me cardiac rehab would be in touch with me. I was told to not exceed a certain heart rate, and to keep lifting light thru the next week, when we would check back in and make a cardiac rehab plan and timeline. 2 days later, Nurse contacts me via the app and washes her hands of me. I was told nothing else was needed, i was to return to work in 5 days. No rehab. No explanation. no contact with the doctor. Despite having a physical skill list for my job printed up, they would not even look at it. Luckily I had an advocate service that triggered them in to offering a base level, bare bones stress test. Then- for some unknown reason, they decided to make an appointment to talk. On the day she mandated i return to work. Terrible organizational skills.

I wasn't impressed with Retzer because of her bedside manner. She's a internist who specializes in interventional cardiology. as a family member I asked a question and she snapped at me. to me it seemed like she's a doctor that thinks she's God
