I was diagnosed with Sciatica and went to Dr. Monteiro yesterday for a follow up. Three weeks prior to follow up i could hardly walk and was in such terrible pain my eyes were watering. I then went in for the follow and was do a little better with my walking ...she commented that I seemed to be walk I g better. I then explained that when I had gone to the emergency room when she was on vacation I was given Tramadol 50 mg and that it worked great . NO PRESCRIPTION...NO COMPASSION...I HATE

Dr. Montiero, is the single worst Dr. I have ever encounter. I work with the elderly and have had to take a few different clients to see her. First off, she lists herself as a Portuguese speaking physician. Hardly able to speak more than a small phrase or two. She has the bedside manner of a corpse. She is rude to everyone, her patients, their relatives / caregivers, and staff. She wont let a person finish a sentence without cutting them off, she is a miserable useless person, nevermind "a Dr."

Horrible experience. She is very dismissive and condescending. Glad to be away from this person.

I had bad experiences with both the Dr. and her Nurse Practitioner. Everyone else in the office is pleasant and easy to get along with. Dr. & NP were both very dismissive. The NP looked down my throat & told me that my tonsils looked okay, they didn't look inflamed. I told her that was good because I don't have any. They were removed when I was four. That was my very first appt. there. They don't want to listen. They just want to ask standard questions & have you listen to them.
