Does not care about the person
She had a diagnosis before she talked with me and had three med changes in the first three days. Four months off medication that she said was lifelong and I haven't had any anxiety or depression. Don't go for assumed quick and incorrect diagnosis.

She did not respect my rights and forced me to take a medication that was unnecessary and has left me with long term frustrating side effects. Avoid her at all costs.

She never asked about why I was depressed. Never gave me a diagnosis. Never discussed drug options. Never placed me on any drugs for what she said I had. I read it in a report. Had another Doctor tell me it was something else. It was actually hypothyroidism. My FP diagnosised it. Which causes depression & anxiety. They clearly don't know what they are doing as they do not treat the whole person. Get at least 3 opinions.

She killed my sister with the lousy drugs she wrote . Never followed up on care with her or told her about lithium screws up your thyroid and empties your estrogen from your body causing bone loss or ordered bone scan or thyroid tests . My sister hair stopped growing, gained 80 pounds broke her hip. They could not fix it because of bone loss. It was from the drugs she wrote her. My sister died from a infection caught in a nursing home . Yup thing Crazy doctor never asks anything of her patients health or other issues. Wrongly misdiagnosed other ppl because she did not ask about other patient health issues or other problems causing distress or not ordering blood or lab tests looking for issues that might be causing depression. Do not ever take any psychiatric drugs without going for 3 opinions and doing complete blood work panels everything..... To rule out other causes. The drugs are dangerous and harmful. Drs should be held accountable for the drugs and lose the license.

I never was treated by Dr. McMasters; but she was supposed to be supervising the nurse practitioner who treated me, Tracey Odishoo. Tracey Odishoo gave me a new medication every time I saw her. I took them because I want/needed to feel better. I ended up on 7 medications! The worst one was gabapentin. I began falling, speech problems, memory problems, worse anxiety and depression, tremors and shaking, on and on. Tracey didn't care and obviously McMasters was not supervising her. It is not possible to get a phone call for a question or concern, you must have an appointment only. Appointments are difficult to get. I had to quit my job because of side effects. Basically my life was ruined because of their irresponsibility. I now am in good hands, being weaned VERY slowly but I am very angry for the significant negative impact on my life. Stay away from these 2.
