Annual Exam
This was over a year ago or so when I had an appointment with Dr. Elizabeth Frisse. I was in the exam room and she walks in with her nurse. I made the comment that she looked young and I definitely did not mean it derogatory. It was just an observation. I may have seen her picture before and just thought, oh she looks young. When I said that to her, I immediately regretted it by the look on her face. She said I'm thirty-eight. So we get to the exam, and I have never been anxious about getting pap smears. I've always just taken a breath and relaxed, so I've never had any problems. Well she was a little rough with me to where I flinched inwards. Next she goes to examine my breasts. I had a lumpectomy back in 2017 on my right breast so it had scar tissue and still is, tender. She did not examine tenderly. She just kind of slapped (maybe slapped is the wrong word) but it felt rough to be examined. When it was over, I thought, this is the 1st and last time with Dr. Frisse.

I am not pleased. I felt brushed off and disregarded. Both Dr. Frisse and her assistant need to be more personable. I expected a lot more from this visit since they have such high reviews. The other staff was extremely friendly and were the best part of my experience. If you want a dr who just wants to “get the job done and get out” then she’s for you. I personally would like a dr who cares. I will not be back. I have cried several times since leaving my appointment because of how it made me feel. I only give two stars for the two wonderful ladies I encountered. I would not recommend. On their website there is a video and it says they treat you like family. Well... I felt like just a number.
