Dr. Elizabeth Ellis, PHD

Very unprofessional and judgmental. She is not a good therapist. she only cares about getting paid. She didn’t listen to anything we talked about but rather interrupted us to serve her own agenda. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Dr Ellis was recommended by my childs pediatrician for ADHD testing. During these visits Dr Ellis once stated that "people are now getting their children diagnosed with ADHD for vanity". Dr Ellis did recommend that my son receive medication but when I asked how that worked, would she write the script or would I have to go through his pediatrician? Dr Ellis responded that she would write her findings/recommendations and send them to his pediatrician. After a week, Dr Ellis had not written or properly communicated her findings to my sons pediatrician. I called Dr Ellis' office on multiple occasions, Dr Ellis wanted me to provide her with a personal check for her to HOLD until my sons insurance paid the bill. She also informed me that she missed packing time(she was taking a vacation) to write her summary of my sons evaluation (the summary that she was holding until I produced a personal check).My story is way more detailed and ended with me reporting her to MEDICAID AND THE STATE BOARD.

Horrible! We were trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I thought she was working with me, because my daughter had ballet event coming up. Not the case. We needed to reschedule because I got the dates mixed up. I wish I could let you hear the message she left on my phone. She was very unprofessional. I gave over 24 hours notice and she left the most degrading message I had ever heard from a doctor. She questioned my parenting, blamed me for her loosing customers. She went on and on. I left her a message letting her know she was not a good fit for my daughter. I would NEVER recommend her!

We approached Ellis (Phd) about providing a clinical review help prior to a divorce. We thought she would provide a balance between legal and clinical. Well, we were extremely frustrated after multiple months of false billing and unnecessary visits for repeated interviews and excuses about delays. Ellis produced 30 hours of alleged billing for investigating and report for 3 hours of interviews. Further, my wife was diagnosed with severe depression and other mental health conditions with a long family history. Ellis simply refused to admit these conditions as reported and refused to interview her psychologist or doctor. Instead Ellis provided a self reporting request as she was not “qualified”. There are issues that Ellis reported that were subject to investigation by the Georgia board of examiners. Would not recommend. It seems the objective of Ellis is to bill insurance rather than perform a legitimate service. Further Ellis is not an MD. That is just false advertising.

Worst experience ever - unprofessional! I would NEVER recommend her to anyone. AWFUL

Excellent listerner, insightful evaluator. Gives options and insights, but continues to modify her process based upon the response and needs of the patient.
