Terrible bed side manor, uncompassionate
I went to see Dr. Dewey for my primary care as I had heard she had a holistic approach to her care and I had been battling a slew of symptoms. I left every appointment with Dr. Dewey feeling not listened to, not helped, and frankly not cared about. She tried to tie all of my symptoms to anxiety or depression even when I pleaded that I didn’t feel this was the case and believed it to be a physical condition. She insisted on changing medications I was content on taking with little explanation on why this change was needed. When I would ask follow up questions her responses felt belittling. I came to her looking for help and left feeling even more alone in my health journey.

Unprofessional
No compassion, doesn't listen, treats you very differently if not vaccinated. Felt very uncomfortable with her after advising I wasn't vaccinated she got very offensive and asked me why, demanded an answer and acted as if she was in fear to be near. It was a very bizarre experience. I went here for about 8 or 9 years. First year or so was pleasant, then she started cutting me off if I brought up any issue then the one I was there for. Needing me to make another appointment. Who has time for that, seriously. She does not live up to her slogan,. Your best interest is not on her mind, it's ALL HER BEST INTEREST. All about money and let's see what kind of medicine we can put you on instead of finding real resolutions let's just temporarily fix it. So disappointing.

Effective and Knowledgeable Physician
I have been a patient of Dr. Dewey for many years. She has helped to keep me healthy and educated me about important medical concerns. I especially appreciate her willingness to take the time necessary to discuss preventive strategies. Her office is efficient and friendly. Overall, I give Dr. Dewey high marks for her medical care approach and systems and recommend her practice.

Negative 5 Stars if it were allowed! I had been seeing Dr. Dewey for over 15years and because I express how I felt about something she became irate and very unprofessional. I personally felt attacked and advised I would be contacting the North Carolina Medical Board. To say the least I've parted ways with Dr Dewey and indeed contacted the board and she now refuses to send over my files to new physician. Which leads me to my next steps, publishing my experience on all social media/professional platforms!

Wouldn't recommend. She is obviously very insecure because if you ask any questions about what she tells you, she gets offended and nasty. I feared taking a certain medication she recommended because of another issue I had going on, and it was almost as if she wasn't hearing me at all. She actually threatened to excuse me as a patient. I also know a couple of patients that she diagnosed incorrectly, one that could have been dire. Save your time and money (which is also what she is all about).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST! DR. DEWEY IS MONEY HUNGRY. SHE WILL NOT TREAT THE SYMPTOMS AND SHE ABSOLUTELY HAS NO BED MANNERS. SHE PRESCRIBED INCORRECT MEDICATION THAT ALMOST SENT MY RELATIVE TO THE HOSPITAL FOR A WEEK AND WHEN COMFRONTED ON IT SHE GOT AN ATTITUDE. YOU KNOW ITS BAD WHEN ANOTHER DOCTOR SAYS A LOT OF HER PATIENTS LEAVE HER FOR POOR CARE. SHE IS NOT COMPETENT AND HER TURN OVER RATE OF NURSES IS EXTREMELY HIGH. I LIVE NEAR ONE PERSONALLY WHO STATED SHE LEFT DR DEWEY DUE TO WORK ETHICS. DEPENDING ON YOUR ETHNICITY AND INSURANCE SHE TREATS DIFFERENTLY. ****TAKE THIS AS A WARNING****

First and last appointment: This lady tried to prescribe me an anti-depressant within 5 minutes of talking to me. I came for an annual checkup and to hopefully establish an PCP. She asked me very personal questions meant for a therapy session, not an annual. Extremely disrespectful as I was clearly uncomfortable and she did not stop or change tune even though I was starting to cry.

Would not recommend. In my opinion this practice is only interested in getting you in there as much as possible. Every time I need a refill, have a question, need a referral, you have to be seen. Without going in to too much detail, visiting Dr. Dewey was an unpleasant experience every time. She lacks knowledge and bedside manner. Will not be back.

I have no problem with Dr. Dewey it's her front office check-in/receptionist that is rude and acts like every time you call or ask her a question that you are bothering her. That practices should really consider putting someone with a better attitude as the face of their office.

I struggled to connect with Dr. Dewey after at least four appointments. During my last visit, Dr. Dewey wanted to conduct a part of the physical exam I wasn't comfortable with. I was disappointed in her lack of bedside manner. Not only did she not conduct the physical after I politely explained that I was seeing another doctor for that part of my health, she told me she was offended and I could deal with my health insurance company. I left feeling ashamed, humiliated, and mortified.

I have found Dr. Dewey to be nothing but professional, attentive, and caring. I feel like she has always taken the time to really address my concerns, as well as just catch up with me whenever I have an appointment. She remembers details from previous visits, and goes over lab results in detail. Her staff is also wonderful. I am very glad I found her when I moved here.

This Dr. will not listen to you, gets defensive when you ask questions and will literally walk out the door while you are talking. Suggested that I had anxiety, and it turned out I have a condition that requires surgery.

the absolute most worst experience mostly after the fact. Sat for a 1hr to wait for someone thennnnn I was seen for 2 min appointment as Marie likes to say (getting established apt) which was last year. Had my weight and blood pressure given chile I could've given them that information. If in GREENSBORO DO NOT COME HERE even if it was last result customer service is HORRIBLE & yes I did get a little in polite on the phone with them TODAY ! Trying to send folks to collections over 300.00 RIDIC

Although she is very knowledgeable and I always feel safe in her care, she is all about treating the symptom without consideration for the whole patient. She gets VERY defensive if you question anything about Your personal treatment plan. High staff turnover. Breezes in and breezes out. Nurses handle most things. If you’re looking for a general practitioner who will spend time with you then look elsewhere.

Front desk receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional when I called as a new patient trying to schedule an appointment. Was told I needed to verify my insurance was in-network after I told her it was - and that I had checked already. It's like they didn't believe me?! Also, no appointments until August for new patients. I explained my husband needs medication regularly and we just moved here. No response, just silence. I hung up.

The WORST Doctor in the world. I had a tick bite with rash and called her for an antibiotic and she said no. She told me to come in to see her in 3 days. I ended up in urgent care and saw another doctor. I made and appointment another time to see her for referrals to see my other doctors because my insurance required referrals. She said she would give them to me . She lied. And her office said if i called back they would call the police. I have filed a complaint with the NC Medical Board.

Dr.Dewey saw me, b4 & after a bad infection, she did 0 testing for. The ER diagnosed & treated me. My follow up with her went down hill fast. The ER Dr. gave me strong pain meds. I asked her for meds that were not so strong. She told me I needed to be admitted to the hospital & Asked which hospital I would like to be admitted to? My hubby took off work, I went hm. for personals. We got to hospital there were NO admission papers! If you can't or don't want 2 rx pain meds just say so!! Worst Dr!
