Dr. Elizabeth Coronado, MD

Lacks compassion, empathy, and bedside manner. Ladies.. find a doctor who is willing to speak to you like YOU MATTER and you’re not just another number walking through the door. This doctor does not have compassion and does not care how you feel. She will not discuss your concerns. I will be informing my gynecologist of this interaction, and I will continue to search for another specialist. There are compassionate doctors out there, Elizabeth Coronado is NOT one of them. You can read my full, detailed review on Google. I felt it was important to share on multiple platforms. As a woman, it’s not only important to advocate for myself, but to look out for others. I would hate for anyone to experience this kind of treatment.

As soon as Dr Coronado walked into the room, I knew I was in good hands! I went to her for a second opinion on a hysterectomy and it took 10 seconds to know that I wanted her to do my surgery. She’s confident, personable, funny and caring.

Best Ob/Gyn ever. I'll never have another menustral cycle because of Dr. Coronado. She did a Robotic hysterectomy on me recently and I was walking the next day with no pain. She is a very kind and expert surgeon.

Absolutely fantastic!! Dr. Coronado was recommended to me by my general surgeon for an elective procedure that I wanted performed during a necessary surgery. I could not be more pleased with the recommendation. Dr. Coronado is kind, affable, was more than happy to help me, despite the difficulty with scheduling between her and another surgeon, and she made me feel supported, listened to, and cared for throughout the entire process. As a plus-size woman this is a difficult combo to find! Dr. Coronado treated me with respect and kindness, and actually helped me resolve my problem. I was given adequate time to ask questions and was given straightforward answers at both of my pre-op appointments, and then she came to check on me prior to my surgery. Everything went perfectly I highly recommend Dr. Coronado. She is a fantastic doctor, and an excellent surgeon!

I did not have a favorable experience with Dr. Coronado. I would not recommend this provider to my enemy. I was assaulted in her office building (Women's Specialist of Plano) today and her only concern was the fact that I recorded the incident. I agree with the 1 star rating posts, but believe the ratings should be lower and probably would be if a star selection wasn't required to submit a review. After the incident, this doctor called me into an office for what I believed was to apologize for the conduct of her staff member, but she called me into the office to let me know the SHE was the owner of the establishment?!?! As though that mattered in that moment or meant squat to me. Not once did she show an ounce of concern or disapproval over the technician's conduct toward me. She was very dismissive and I found her responses to me quite offensive. Again, I would not recommend her. I am an African American female.

Dr. Coronado is a very personable doctor, who never appears rushed but who takes time to listen to concerns. I especially like that she's a practical doctor who isn't always quick to prescribe meds, but instead has given me alternatives to problems, such as a recurring UTI.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Coronado. She always takes the time to listen and thoroughly explains everything that I need to know. I can always reach and speak directly with her if I need. From her excellent bedside manner to her thorough medical knowledge and own experience, I trust her with my care completely. If I could rate her as 10 stars I would!

She is the best ob/gyn I have ever been to! She is smart, professional, and compassionate. I can not recommend Dr. Coronado enough!

Staff is polite, very attentive. You can talk openly to Dr. Coronado without any level of embarrassment or feeling uncomfortable.

Such an unprofessional doctor. Let’s her personal religious beliefs and opinions affect the way she cares for patients medically. Sure, she’ll treat you - but only if you believe and think exactly the way she does. If not, she won’t help or even talk to you about options. Not trustworthy, find another doctor that actually cares about what’s best for you.

After a very scary and tough birth with my first child about 10 years ago (with a different OBGYN), Dr. Coronado has been wonderful about easing my fears and making me comfortable with the decisions we have made together. I chose Dr. Coronado after seeing her work first hand delivering my best friends baby about 2 years ago. I am happy with her, her staff, and our doctor patient relationship. She is very professional yet down to earth.

Rude. Made me feel uncomfortable about my personal/psychological and intimate issues. Not nourishing or compassionate. Implied that I should not bother her, and did not give me an alternative on who to turn to if the problem accures again. As a client, I felt unwelcomed ans stressed. FIred!

Through multiple surgeries and the birth of my son the last few years, I have to leave a review. This is the BEST doctor I've ever had for anything. I wish I could see her for more than just obgyn needs. I would recommend her to anyone. Her staff know you by name. She truly cares about her patients and takes time to answer any questions, and make you laugh.

Had Dr. Coronado do my IUD insertion earlier this year. The procedure was quick with minimal pain. Highly recommend her if you need an IUD!

She's great. She really is. I was first-skeptical because my previous Obgyn was excellent and I thought no one could replace her after 14 years but Coronado is her equal after 3 visits!! Great personality and great gynocologist!!

Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait but I experience that with all doctors. Dr. Coronado has great bedside manner and I have total confidence in her. The office has provided great prenatal care and I would recommend them to anybody.

Dr. Elizabeth Coronado has overbooked her schedule and I've waited nearly 2 hours before I see her. After a year of not visiting her and bringing this issue to her attention I thought I'd try once more. She seemed like she would do something about it, however, after today's visit she has not. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time. There was another patient with a newborn that had been schedule at the same time, 3 more people ahead of me. I had to leave.

Walking in the exam room 45 minutes late carrying a cup of coffee and a chip on her shoulder isn't a good way to start off an office visit! This gal needs to take lessons in how to present herself as a professionall. With HIPPA laws aside, my daughter invited me to the appt. Who knew Coronado would be so threatened that a parent was in the room!!! She even wrote in the chart Parent asked too many questions. She gave wrong advice and very rude. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAL!
