ALL ABOUT COLLECTING PAYMENT
It's all about collecting payment for her. As a traveling doctor to provide services for SCHEDULED surgeries, I'd expect her to arrive on time... She was late. Yes, she offered an apology but I find it insulting when they demand deposits and final payments before the bleeding has stopped. Let me also say that she, at first, declined services but than changed her mind and said she would do the surgery. I am not sure what egos and personalities involved and the change in minds. However, when you are dealing with children, notify parents about your decision ONCE your mind is made up. Not a week before to cancel on to reschedule on the original date 4 days before the original date. It was a total disorganized mess which just added more stress to an already stressful situation.
