Dr. Girard is so awesome!

Absolutely terrible. She hit every single trauma trigger I have from a previous traumatic pregnancy.

I came to my appt with a list of symptoms I wanted to know talk about. I am a high risk pregnancy with several complications. My list was then negatively referred to as “paragraphs”. Every single symptoms was immediately dismissed as “normal”. I was given several comments about how l “knew that I shouldn’t have gotten pregnant so soon” (4 months pp). I also received a comment about how “it’s a good thing you are getting sterilized”. My tubal ligation was not a easy decision. I have had two medically complicated pregnancy’s and I was heart broken to come to that decision. So her comment really hurt and I started sobbing. She then immediately asked me if I had been talking to my therapist and asked me if I needed to go to the hospital for psychiatric help. I am so thankful a different Dr. then stepped in and finished my appointment. Safe to say I will not be working with her again.

I have been with this practice for over 20 years. I have seen all doctors and NPs and would not go back to Dr. Girard. I work in health care and am highly educated. She dismissed my questions and talked down to me. She is not compassionate and definitely should not be practicing in the area of Obgyn. She even contradicted what her co workers recommended and laughed at their suggested plan of care. I would recommend any others in the practice.

Office environment screams “female healthcare is us”. Dr. Girard’s bedside manner is top notch.

I find her compassionate, she listens to one’s concern and has the answers needed to help the one feel calmer about the situation she is very easy to talk to and is kind she also reaches out after a procedure to see how u are feeling

Everyone there is extremely helpful, nice. Relaxed, no stress environment. Makes you feel comfortable to talk and ask anything. Dr Girard is wonderful, personable bedside.

Annual exam was on time, medical staff spent as much time needed discussing any issues I had. There was no rush.

the visit went okay at first. then she said she didn't see my glucose test results in the computer. i explained that at times i need to call out of work for not being able to find childcare. i was not given the option to discuss any questions or concerns i had besides telling her i'm still nauseas and the medication didn't sit well with me. she said "this is not a choice, you have no choice and it should have been done like yesterday". she was very condescending and it makes me question if i made the right choice to switch OB offices. i'm contemplating switching back to my old office, as i would not recommend this MD to any friends and family.

She seemed really nice, but the appointment was super rushed. Oh she literally just told me that everything sounds good and allowed me to ask one question before leaving the room and that was it. I still had a few questions to ask, but I never had an opportunity to do so. I really like everyone who I’ve had at this office so far, it just makes me a little uneasy if she is my delivering doctor, because I don’t want a rushed labor…

While I’m sure she’s a great dr, I did not feel heard when expressing concerns and felt rushed out of the room. This is my first baby and I’m feeling a lot of pressure to do/take optional genetic testing I don’t feel is necessary. Overall not my favorite dr in the practice.

I take my elderly mother to Dr. Girard. She is easy going, professional and attentive. A big improvement over several other gynecologists we've been to. Mom needed a pessary and was in pain and discomfort a lot. Dr. Girard said immediately she had the wrong one and changed it to a much lighter weight, smaller one. No more pain! In less than a year Mom didn't need a prssary any more (94 yrs old, 6 children)! Dr. G and her asst are awesome.

Dr Girard is kind and knowledgeable. She’s honest and easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable.

My doctor retired from the practice and I had been seeing him for many many years and was a bit nervous meeting new doctor since I really liked him. I can say the nervousness went away as soon as she walked into exam room. Dr Girard is very personable and professional- I did not feel rushed during appointment and she was very thorough and took time to talk to me.

Informative, truly concerned for health and best interest. Quick appt, clear with suggestions. Requesting her for annuals and any visits needed. 8+ years of seeing her.
