Great care by a greater doctor
Dr Fteha’s positive attitude and knowledge of medicine are unmatched. I read through some of the reviews and was upset to see any negative ones until I realized they were all unrelated to Dr Fteha himself. There is simply not one bad thing that can be said about this man. He saved my life and many others with his keen eye. I will always recommend Dr Fteha

I've tried them all. He's the best.
I went to Dr. Fteha's Park Slope location for many years. He was great - active listener, flawless in diagnosis/prescription, and kind. Decided to try someone else because his office was fairly rundown and seemed out-of-step with the times. Boy was I wrong! Five years and three doctors later, I'm back to Fteha and sorry I ever thought to leave.

I've been with Dr. Elie Fteha for years. I'm always happy with my visits and his care. Their new offices on 5th avenue are pretty nice and convenient to reach too.

Very poor. Dr. Fteha himself is fine, but he has a terrible physician's assistant named Rachel. She is the rudest, most unprofessional medical "professional" that I have ever encountered. Although I had been thinking about changing doctors because the office if rundown and needs to be modernized, I continued because I liked him and his staff. The PA completely changed that with her discourteous manner. I will no longer go to Dr. Fteha's office.

While Dr. Fteha is qualified and caring the practice is remiss with their Testing and referrals. My son (23) complained of a stomach discomfort and was taken to an adjacent office to see a Gastroenterologist - to the tune of $350! REALLY? He is 23 and spent a total of 5 minutes with Doctor. I was told my Holt test was fully covered. With a bill of over $1000 - it is NOT fully covered. Very deceptive handling of patient tests.

During my visit, doctor did not seem concerned at all, he did not even address all the issues I mentioned & brushed me off with a routine blood test. Told me to take some Advil if I felt worse(?)& promised I would receive a call with test results on Tuesday. I waiter until Thursday & called in myself only to hear by results were completely normal, they did not even mention the lack of Vitamin D which i know I have. Guess I just paid A $25 copay for a blood test... would Not recommend the doctor

Dr. Fteha always came in with a sunny attitude, which was lovely, but while I was in the hospital, he kept telling me I'd be out knowing that the final word didn't rest with him, and it took about three days longer than he originally said. The day I was discharged, he said I'd be out in half hour an hour, but it took over an hour and a half. This is nothing against his ability as a doctor, but it was beyond frustrating to feel like I was being misled every day.

Dr. Fteha is extremely knowledgeable about internal medicine. His friendly demeanor and non-judgmental attitude makes it easy to discuss sensitive medical issues. Dr. Fteha's staff work very hard with insurance companies to make payments and and prescription refills as painless as possible.

Dr. Fteha and his brother are excellent doctors. They are thorough, but not alarmist. They remember details and provide good recommendations. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a general practitioner/interist.
