Caring and thorough doctor – Feb 06, 2025

I had my first appointment a week ago. (10/3/23) Very pleasant and personable Dr. He listened attentively, explained to me what was wrong and how he could take care of my issues. Before I knew it he was finished and I was able to leave. I have already referred a friend to also see Dr Elias. Nice job to you and your staff.

Incredibly rude
When I arrived at 8:55 for my (first) appointment, scheduled for 9AM, I inquired if the doctor was running on time. I was informed that he had not actually arrived. At 9:15, when an assistant took me back to the examinaing room, I asked if the doctor had now arrived, and was told “yes” and that he would be in soon. The doctor then appeared, raving that I had “made him look bad” by inquiring if he was in, and announced that he would refuse to treat me. Physicians often run late during the day; that is almost to be expected. To not start on time, however, is less common. To have a tantrum is exceptionally rare, shocking, and highly unprofessional.

This doctor is unethical and should be avoiuded at all costs. He tried to bill me for supposed treatment he did while I was in the ICU at UH Cleveland and I have been trying for FOUR MONTHS to get an explanation/breakdown of a $350 charge. I have made eight calls to his office asking for clarification and they will promise but never provide any details. I suspect they usually get away with bogus and inflated charges because most patients don't bother to question or don't see the charges because they go to the insurance company. I think they finally realized that I wasn't going to pay it without an explanation and finally said "Never mind. We will ust credit it." There is only one reason a doctor does that. They know the are inflating and falsifying their services. I can only imagine how much this office has bilked patients for over the years. I hope everyone avoids this practice at all costs and if it's too late for that, go over your bill carefully.

This office has been a nightmare to get any records from. I received a bill with no notes, and have repeatedly asked for something sent to me. I get the runaround every time I call. I’m not sure what their problem is.

Don't waste your time coming here! Totally unprofessional! My appointment was at 2:00pm but changed it because doctor having surgery in afternoon. Went in at 12:00 noon expecting to see doctor but got a resident instead NOT expecting that at all. The Doctor was introduced to me for a couple minutes but never did anything to me. I did not get any paperwork or Compression stockings given to me. The information on my Progress note in My Chart was totally wrong about me because as I said-- he didn't spend any time with me at all. So how can he know anything about me. No one weighed but I was heavier than I was?? And I was having a lot of pain like an 8/10 with the 2nd Toe with fungus on it?? Which just basically needed clipping because it was so thick I couldn't do it myself. And I had limited activity and function?? Hello I Golf twice a week which does require walking and I do NOT HAVE ANY PAIN WHAT SO EVER!!!! I am Very Unhappy and Never Again!! Bought my own Clippers!!
