Incompetent with billing and diagnosis
Unnecessary testing, inaccurate and vague assessment of skills. Was not assessing what I needed. Said insurance covered, would not be billed. Her office is a mess and unorganized - she is still trying to balance bill us 2 years later. Insane.

Does not care about her patients!!! I was a patient of hers for years, and she would continuously increase my medications AT THE REQUEST OF MY FATHER. At several points, the medications themselves were well above dosages approved safe by FDA guidelines, negatively affecting my liver function. I was being treated based solely on the word of MY FATHER (who was diagnosed BY HER at one of MY appointments with OCD/Bi-Polar), not listening to myself (HER PATIENT) or my mother. At several points in my childhood he would actively make appointments behind my mother’s back to try and get my medications adjusted and he would ask Dr. Malkin to not mention the appointments to my mother, and she would oblige!!!! WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR VIOLATES A CHILD’S TRUST IN THAT WAY?! Adjusting medications without the child’s mother knowing?! She for some reason treated my father like one of her patients, as opposed to ME who was actually there for help with epilepsy/ADHD/OCD/depression/PTSD. Instead, he would get to talk to her about his problems and I would leave with another 50mg increase of my medication. Suffice to say, I would recommend you AVOID her at all costs, there are plenty of other options in the area. SHE RUINED MY CHILDHOOD and I only hope she didn’t ruin too many other children’s as well.
