Dr. Eleanor Bautista, MD

My experience with Dr. Bautista at Duly was wonderful for my short time with her as a patient. Her administrative staff, however, is rude, abrupt, and incompetent when it comes to dealing with insurance companies and policies. Being under Dr. Bautista’s care for a short month, I was informed that her network did not accept my insurance (even though her administrative staff member assured me 4 times that they do accept my insurance and was told by my insurance that she was in network). I only found out Dr.Bautista’s office did not accept my insurance when I began receiving bills from Duly and collection notices which are now under review by Duly Compliance. The administrative staff dropped the ball and did not file the proper paperwork with my insurance company to have one of my medical devices covered by insurance and then dropped the ball again by not sending in the appeal paperwork in a timely fashion, leaving the appeal to be denied. They have jeopardized my healthcare.

I guess Dr. Bautista could be a good doctor if I ever could get in to see her. What's the point of having a PCP if you can never get an appt. when you're actually sick. Forces patients to use walk in clinics as the primary source of care. What's ironic is just two weeks ago I received a letter announcing this office is accepting same day appts. I've called in twice this week to get an appointment (because I'm sick) was told she's totally booked and lectured when I questioned the same day option

She's cold and unfriendly. Snapped at me. Horrible!!!!!

My daughter waited 4 weeks to get in to see this doctor, and had been sick for months. She has an auditory disorder which makes it difficult for her to communicate, which I explained to the staff when I made the appointment. My daughter was well prepared, and brought with her all her previous test results & medical history. None of that mattered...Dr. Bautista rushed through, wouldnt listen to her symptoms, & twice accused her of being a drug addict. Total waste of time and money.
