Love her!
Dr. John is a highly respectable Dr. She is the best of the best! I drove out of my way just to go see her. She is very experienced and knows what she is doing. She truly cares about her patients health and is very personable. She is very straight forward with you- what I admire most about her. I was very thankful to be under her care during my 1st pregnancy. An emergency C-section was necessary during the time of delivery and everything went so smoothly.

Find someone BETTER, and SAFE. Because she is NOT
High Risk pregnancy. First Pregnancy at 41 yrs old. BP was normal up until 35 weeks and 4 days when BP started elevating. Admitted for Observation Wednesday night, Friday had a visit with high risk MD which said Baby needs to come out Today. Unfortunately, Dr. EJohn was not around. Induction was scheduled that evening but ended up with emergency C-section by another provider. Office NEVER reimbursed the $1200 i prepaid for her delivery fee and she was not the one who delivered my child. Delivered Friday, saw Dr. John at bedside Monday morning. Discharged Tuesday with my only BP med: Metoprolol 50mg for BP of 170's/80's, told nurse to ask Dr. John to send me home with another BP med just incase BP starts to go up. reply: " i feel comfortable sending her home with one medicine, make a follow up appointment in 1 week and tell her to remove PICO dressing on Friday" I ended up in ER twice with BP 214/109. kept saying its anxiety. What about Postpartum Preeclampsia? UNSAFE, inconside

Absolutely horrid office staff, and now I'm not confident in the doctor either. I was just obviously lied to. I had an appointment at 11, I called before 11 because they don't tell you which medical office building they're in so I had to figure it out on my own. I called to let them know I was coming but might be five minutes late and they told me I had to reschedule. They don't give you a second's grace period apparently. I go in anyway, and then I'm told the doctor was resting up for a surgery. Yeah, right. I'm over health professionals who obviously don't care about their patients. Don't waste your time.

I am a new patient. I was very nervous to see a new doctor, as I have seen the same OB/GYN for 16 years. However, Dr Elcy John was very warm and welcoming. She listed to me. She showed true concern for my health and I feel like I am in good hands for my upcoming surgery.
