Dr Barfield is great!
We have been trying to get to the bottom of my daughters stomach issues for years. Dr Barfield took a very detailed and comprehensive approach that I felt no other provider has taken.

Great Follow Up
Meeting was very informative and She answered all of our questions. Office was very clean and the wait time was no more than 5 minutes from the time we arrived. Her recommendations were easy to follow and understand and She is very responsive on the portal website.

Discussed issues with my daughter’s digestion. Dr. Airfield took the time to listen, explained cry clearly the issues and the treatment plan. She made sure we understood next steps encouraged us to schedule a follow up visit to discuss progress. I was quite pleased with the outcome of the visit and the next steps to resolving my daughter’s issue. Her bedside manner was great. My daughter (1yr old) felt at ease with her (which is a miracle).

We previously went to another doctor who was very rude and didn’t give my daughter’s health complaints any merit. Dr. Barfield on the other hand didn’t dismiss our concerns and is working with us to identify the issue. Her bedside manner is kind and respectful. She makes my daughter comfortable.

I do not recommend this doctor whatsoever. She saw my child at age 3 and very much INSISTED on an unnecessary rectal exam that came up as traumatic in a therapy session years later. We took my child there to discuss food allergies and this doctor insisted on an intrusive rectal exam to diagnose "constipation", even though we didn't mention anything about constipation as this was not an issue, found NO SIGNS and still diagnosed my child with constipation. Do not allow her or any other doctor to perform any unnecessary exam on your child, even if they INSIST when you protest! Trust your gut! Would not recommend this doctor to anyone!!!

I spent a lot of time arranging this appt and filling out forms for my daughter who is dangerously deficient in a vitamin and needs weekly shots. I couldn’t be there and my baby sitter took her (as I explained I am not living in the city with her currently) and yet when she arrived, they turned her away. First they said I needed to send a note ahead of time, then they said in fact I needed a notary signature and then they said I needed to be there with no exceptions. Horrible practice.
