Dr. Eileen Turbessi, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Turbessi for a number of years now. One thing that stands out is that she does not have her staff ask the routine questions; she will sit with you to ask all the questions. I find that I answer questions more thoughtfully this way. Her method often reminds of something I've been meaning to ask or have been wondering about. She also does not hesitate to refer you on to a physician specializing in your particular issue if she feels it best for you. Yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Turbessi! Her staff is very caring as well!

Dr. Turbessi 's office staff is just as attentive as Dr Turbessi is! I find her to be extremely detail in her examination and super detail in her actions to resolve my issue at that time. I have no issues with scheduling an office visit as per needed. Either Dr. Turbessi or the nurse will indeed call you back with test results after they have been provided to the doctor I would definitely recommend Dr. Turbessi to my family and friends.

Have been a patient of Dr Turbessi for 22 years. When I call for an appointment, Maria is always helpful and promptly sets a time for me to see the doctor. Office staff is very welcoming and efficient. They keep my records up to date and assists with any insurance questions I might have regarding my bill. Time spent with the doctor is quick but each issueI have is resolved in a timely manner. Dr Turbessi is very thorough and offers suggestionson how to improve my health. We are very blessed to have such an excellent doctor in this area who gives us a high level of good healthcare.

I have many been a patient of the doctor’s for over 12 years and have been so greatful for her care. I have many dx including MS and thyroid disease and she has been so helpful to manage them all. She keeps track of all that I report by typing in her computer which I’m thankful for so she is fully aware of anything I report to give full acre that day and the future. I’ve never had a doctor do this. I know the office will give 15 min appts and longer appts so I don’t think it’s her fault or her fault if she can’t take on new patients. She’s never made me feel unimportant and always acted like my concerns were valid so I don’t agree with any of those few negative comments. I STRONGLY HAVE FELT SHE WANTS TO HELP ME HEAL AND FIND THE BEST PATH TO HEALING FOR LONG TERM CONCERNS. She doesn’t rush me nor just throw drugs at me to fix things which I appreciate. I highly recommend her! In addition, the office is very helpful at triaging any emergency situation and getting me in for emergencys.

Horrible experience! I was told by the doctor that I only have 15 minutes for my visit. She kept saying to me that "this is a lot." What is a lot, my thyroid is too much for you to check? What if I had some horrible illness... would that be too much? Please do not go to this doctor.

I live in a small town where it's hard to find doctors for the type of health insurance that you have. My HR department recommended this doctor to me because she goes to her too. When I called to try to become a new patient, they do have my insurance company. I was turned away they said they were at their limit. Limit of helping people? What a horrible experience and her receptionist was very rude to me she treated me as if I was stupid. I've never been more offended. I just need a new doctor.??

I've been a patient of Dr. Turbessi's for two years. Today was my last visit. She treats my concerns like they're silly; These are valid concerns given my family history. Dr. Turbessi's condescending attitude and lack of any bed side manner made me feel worse walking out than I felt walking in. Thank you, Mary, Dr. Turbessi's receptionist. You have been wonderful.

I have been a patient of Dr.Turbessi for years and she has directed my care through several different medical problems and I can't say enough great things about her and her staff .I myself have been a critical care RN for over 25 years and I know a great MD when I see one. Her staff is wonderful as is Dr. Magraine who shares an office with her and they cover for each other. I highly recommend her and I know of many other medical professionals in our community who are patients of hers.

I was a patient of the doctor for over 5 years I was never told I have cirrhosis of the liver I was just told I should stop drinking and I shouldn't take it with the Valium once I was in the nursing home she came to visit me twice once when I was on a soft diet and I complained and the last time before I was transferred to another facility here in North Carolina she really didn't help me at all but I want3 to 6 months to live and right now and living three years with cirrhosis of the liver stage
