Dr. Edwin Salamanca, MD

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. I went in for my yearly exam and obtain birth control. I was told I would need to give a urine sample. During check out I asked if they still needed it. She then called his nurse and said “oh yeah, you do they forgot”. I was led to a dirty bathroom where there was a drawer of Dixie cups and was told to write my initials on one and then leave the pee on the counter. This was a bathroom being used by many people and it’s absolutely atrocious that as a patient I could have walked into a bathroom where a cup of random uncovered piss was in sitting out in the open on a random shelf. My prescription was never called in and when I called to try to rectify this and there was no record of me ever asking for it. Mind you I had been told by 3 separate people that it had been called in. I’m 36 and didn’t receive a breast exam being told by the doctor I don’t need to worry about it since there was no family history. That is pure negligence.

An amazing doctor who is thorough in explaining what is taking place. He shares with you results that you can see for yourself in black and white. ( I'm a visual person, so that's a plus for me) and discusses what needs to take place moving forward. You always leave knowing more than when you came in. You genuinely feel you are in good hands.
