This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a Dr. He never introduced himself, he never asked any questions about symptoms, previous medications, or took the time to listen to my concerns. He interrupted me on several occasions, and barely made eye contact. He had not reviewed my chart, which he carried in with him. I filled out a pre-appointment paperwork that told previous history, and symptoms, none of which was discussed. I was also asked to bring in a list of medications I was taking, and was never asked about them. It was obvious that he did not care at all about why I was there. The reason for the visit has been affecting me for several years, and is a big concern for me. He did not take any time to listen, and I got zero answers. I'm not sure if the new prescription I was given will be dangerous to take with other medications that I've been previously prescribed, as i was not asked about them. All I have now is a Dr's bill, and no answers. I will not be back.

Promises Promises Promises
I spoke with Dr. Diaz about Prostatic Artery Embolization. He wanted me to have a PSA check and I did. He said it was a little high and he wanted me to due an MRI. I did an MRI and then he said he said he wanted to have my Testosterone under his control. So I did that and he asked me to take another MRI. I did that and my PSA was stable so I asked for the PAE referral but he said that I would have to take another prostate biopsy, which may lead to other infections. I had one under is care 2 years ago. It seems to me that he just prolongs providing a recommendation for no other reason that his own. Now changing doctors after five years of trying to get help for an enlarged prostrate, without having success under Dr. Diaz's care.

Would not recommend him to anyone. Upon the appointment, the Dr. explained absolutely nothing. You would think it's okay to ask questions since this will be the first surgery you will have, but that's incorrect. The Dr. canceled my surgery the day before my procedure because he felt "uncomfortable" due to me asking questions. On top of that after the surgery is scheduled you will never be able to speak with him again. Everything is communicated through his team and most of them are rude. If you plan on getting any surgery through him expect no information in regards to the procedure, don't any ask questions (unless you want your appointment canceled.), and be prepared for his rude staff.

I've been a patient of Dr Diaz at the North Little Rock office for the past 2 ½ years. The level of care has been outstanding. His explanations are so easy to understand, since he uses language that is for the layman.

He is absolutely the worst doctor I have ever seen. I would not recommend him to anyone. He told me he saw 70 plus patients a day. How can he be competent seeing that many patients. He has a HORRIBLE bedside manner, never explains anything, makes appts with other physicians without discussing with you why he did that. Etc.

We had read reviews on this site and were concerned about seeing Dr. Diaz. However, he came highly recommend by our surgeon, so we scheduled an appointment. Dr. Diaz was very personable, he answered all our questions, and recommended non-invasive procedures to help us. Overall, a great experience, and we will recommend him to others.

I've had the most horrible, nightmare experience with Dr Edwin Diaz, MD. He never follows up, he doesn't investigate problems, he sends all communication through his nursing staff and PA's. Would never recommend him to anyone.
