Dr. Edward Wolfgram, MD

Dr. Wolfgram loves to hear any concerns and talk through them and while usually I don't have any this time I did. He listened to everything patiently, processed and discussed possible next steps. I felt cared for and comforted.

I can't emphasize strongly enough that the doctors in this practice are about the best you will find in the area. I became a patient in the early 1990's after several inferior experiences in the local area. They have provided gyn and then ob care for my three pregnancies (delivering three very healthy babies!). I still drive down from the Baltimore area to be seen in Bethesda and Rockville. I will not go anywhere else as long as I am within driving distance! The doctors that I have spent the most time with have been Wolfgram and Margolis; Dr Alter delivered one of our children. I have zero complaints. The care is top-notch, which includes their medical support staff and administrative staff.

Dr. Wolfgram is very knowledgeable, conscientious and caring. The nurse and office staff were efficient and competent.

Dr Wolfgram was kind, personable, welcoming and thoughtful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. When my pregnancy needed to be moved he was open and supportive. He asked thoughtful questions, and helped with my needs at every turn. I highly recommend Dr Wolfgram.

Dr. Wolgram exhibits a personable demeanor and takes the time necessary during appointments. He consistently explains complex topics in a manner that is easy to understand. When it became necessary for me to be referred to another specialist, he carefully addressed my concerns and emphasized the importance of following through to make sure I ahve continued good health.

Dr. Wolfgram is extremely caring, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to my concerns and then took the time examining me and explaining what needs to be done to resolve my issue. He was also very gentle when examining me which is very important. Highly recommend him.

'Dr. Wolfgram was 40 minutes late to my 12:00 appointment. I found his bedside manner was poor. He did not ask or warn before using his tools and then when I expressed pain did not pause or modify and after stated 'I was barely touching your cervix with my instrument.' When discussing my medical history redirected me by stating 'let's back up a few miles' which I found rude and dismissive. He did nothing to normalize my challenges with resuming my cycles after coming off birth control and immediately brought up the potential need for a fertility specialist before getting any labs. He had the door half open and one foot out during the last bit of our conversation which I found to be a questionable privacy practice. He did not proactively ask me if I had questions after our visit. He did not perform a breast exam which is something I have had at prior providers. Overall while I appreciate him ordering the needed tests I question if my emotional needs would be met during a pregnancy

I had my twins delivered by Dr. Wolfgram. I still see him for my annual check-up to date. Dr. Wolfgram is a genuinely kind human being, and he is also a great Obgyn -- a complete package. Thank you, Dr. Wolfgram.

Dr.Wolfgran is patient, highly knowledgeable, listens to you, makes you feel better physically and mentally. I cannot stress enough how compassionate he is. If you are pregnant Dr.Wolfgram is a doctor who gives you confidence and peace of mind throughout your pregnancy and postpartum. He is the best doctor I have ever had.

Edward Wolfgram has been my doctor for nearly 38 years. He delivered all 3 of my children, is now the GYN to both of my daughters and will deliver my first grandbaby this summer. He is the most genuine, companionate, and humble doctor I ever met. He goes out of his way to make sure all your questions are answered, and he works with you to address your health concerns rather than telling you what to do. I struggled to get pregnant with my first child and broke down in his office one day, in that same week I received the sweetest card from him in the mail telling me not to worry that I will get pregnant and when I do, I will be the best mom. I was so touched by his kindness, it’s so rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I am so blessed to have him as my doctor and my friend.

Dr. Wolfgram is amazingly kind and gentle. He shows an interest in the concerns of his patients and tried to help in any way he can. I have seen some docs take a short-cuts over the years but, this is not the case with him. He had remained extraordinarily consistent over the last decade he has been my gyn.

What can I say, this is possibly the best Physician I have ever come into contact with. He is super kind, gentle and respectful. He LISTENED to me, and I knew that he cared for my well-being. He answered every question, gave me pros and cons, and didn't rush me. I also didn't have to wait forever to see him. I recommend him to EVERY WOMAN seeking an ob/gyn. He is the best. No exaggeration.

Wonderful OB! Very thoughtful and caring. He kept a close eye on my pregnancy to make sure everything was going well. When I did deliver, he did a great job on my c-section with very little scarring. I was up and moving about the day after the delivery!
