Excellent Dr. I was brought in having a heart attack and 30 mins later was in surgery. He put a stent in and 2 days later another 2 stents. He has a regular team of 6 assisting him in surgery. All my post op visits went fine. He saved my life, because I didn't want to go to the hospital but my wife insisted and the rescue squad fooled me by saying we have everything in the truck to evaluate if you're having a heart attack while we drove to Kent. But I'm glad they did. Yes, the office lady is a little quirky but if you have a sense of humor you look past it. The Dr is what most important and he has a track record and my confidence so I'd recommend him as a cardiologist to anyone.

My first visit went well, but he wanted me to have a stress test. I mentioned that I get extremely dizzy on treadmills and didn’t want to do it but took the paperwork anyway. I called today (maybe 6 months later) because of palpitations. I told the receptionist I get dizzy and usually have low blood pressure. She mentioned that I didn’t have the stress test like I should have and I told her that I already mentioned why I didn’t want one. Calls me back saying the doctor would call in a b.p. med which lowers blood pressure. I measured mine earlier and it was 93/66. I called back telling her that and won’t the medication lower it more? She said I never mentioned my normal b.p (I did). She talked to the doctor and called me back saying he said he doesn’t know what I want him to do then. I told her that I would find a doctor who will help me figure out the best course of action and I have.

Dr Thomas is a terrific cardiologist.
I think he is a terrific doctor. The person who said he was dismissive and condescending, in my estimation, was totally incorrect. He is the farthest thing from those two adjectives. He is warm, friendly, funny, kind and explains everything and has also answered all of my questions. It’s a pleasure to have him as my cardiologist. He has an excellent reputation and is well thought of by everyone I know who is familiar with him as a medical professional.

After waiting an hour and a half due to an "emergency, he actually spent maybe three minutes with us. He was dismissive and condescending and had some facts actually wrong and had to be corrected. Run, don't walk, to someone else!

Very pleased and satisfied. Dr. Thomas put a stent in me after a heart attack. Everything went perfectly - no complications. I have fully recovered (like it never happened). Also, he has always addressed any questions or concerns of mine appropriately. I disagree with another reviewer who said he doesn't care. He may not be a touchy-feely type person - but he definitely cares.
