Dr. Edward Steinmann, DO

Dr. Ed Steinmann won't listen. The staff is rude and the nurses are not trained well. The people at this clinic have no "people" skills. Run as fast as you can. If you need a script refill on time, forget it. This place is a mess!

Stay away from Dr. Ed Steinmann. He has a God complex. Full of himself. He's NOT A GOOD LISTENER. If you're looking for a caring Dr. who will listen to what ails you, stay far, far away from Ed Steinmann.

The nursing staff at Steinmann Clinic is terrible. Nurse Melissa is belligerent, arrogant, condescending and SHE'S NEVER WRONG. If you try to explain something she cuts you off. Nurse Tamira gives out wrong information. She's angry when she answers the phone and mumbles when you ask her a question. It's almost as though she's trying to pick a fight. The Dr.'s might be good but dealing with people who don't care about you is not worth it. You've been warned!

Either kept poor records regarding medication, or failed to follow his own records Refused to communicate with patient to establish care plans Failed to communicate his own expectations with regard to care, and then dismissed patient as "abusive" while the patient was defending their own need for care.

Dr Steinmann and his wife Lori are awesome I love them and how they practice.

I have seen Ed for many many years and he is a great dr. Wouldn't go to any other clinic.

Since moving to Des Moines, Dr. Steinmann has been my physician. He is a caring, honest, dutiful practioner. He always is concerned about changes in your life as a tool to determine any potential impacts on your overall health. He is a straight shooter with compassion. He has a great reputation and when he refers you to a specialist, they have always been a high level provider. He is trustworthy beyond any doubt.

Great doc. Interesting sense of humor but we really liked his approach with our kids. Glad he is serving the Des Moines metro!

Dr. Steinmann has been a great help to my family over the last 27 years. He is very generous, he listens to what you have to say, talks to you like a human and not some number. He is very knowledgeable in his profession and does not let things get out of control. He is very straight forward, he is a great doctor, his staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Steinmann is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever had in my life. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, finds things that other Doctors in my case have missed and saved my life. He has a very good bedside manner and cares about his patients and wants to get you well and does it in the right way!
