do not allow Dr salzberg near your children. He is incompetent, neglectful, and actively harming his patients. he had our son on so many laxatives that he was dehydrated to the point of not being able to stay awake. he continually humiliates our son during appointments despite my son having special needs and not being able to handle the situation. he does not care about children. Please keep your children safe and away from him.

Incompetent
I felt the need to write this review to hopefully help other patients. My son saw this man 1x over 8 years ago for a sick appointment. His regular ped was unavailable that day sadly. My mom brought him to the appointment, as I had just given birth and had my daughter at home as well. My son was 15 at the time of the visit. He went to be assessed because he had vomited in the morning and looked very 'off' as well as having an abnormally low temperature. I had asked that my mom call me from the office and request bloodwork. My mom called me very upset stating that his temperature was basically ignored, an assessment was barely performed and Dr. Salzberg was on a personal call in the hallway the majority of the visit. They left with the advice to stay hydrated! I ended up calling an ambulance later that evening and my son was shortly thereafter diagnosed with GBM and passed away. I am by no means blaming anyone for my son's illness, but please perform your job or move on!

Cannot say enough bad things about this guy. Won’t even give him the credit of calling him a doctor. When we brought in our 1 year old for his check up he started asking my wife and I if we were Covid vaccinated. Would be one thing if he just asked once, but he continued over the next 10 minutes to present a “what-if” scenario asking us how our son would feel if we were both hooked up to ventilation machines because we were unvaxxed and the risks of COVID 19 were so high that it was virtually an inevitability. First off- not why we were there. Second off- when we told him that’s a decision we’d make as a family he wouldn’t drop it and suggested our son be vaccinated for Covid 19 as he got older. Every time we go to our pediatricians, we have to request any other physician but him. From the sounds of it, we’re far from the only ones who make the same requests. Cannot recommend anyone less than him. What a sham.

Pediatrician?
Walked in to exam room with absolutely no affect and was monotone. Not once did he say “hello” or act like he enjoyed being a physician, let alone a pediatrician. Most uncomfortable appointment for my kids and I.

Unbelievably rude
The rudest and most condescending doctor I have ever seen. Couldn’t care less about his patient. I will never have my kids see him again!

Dr. Salzberg has treated my children for nearly 15 years. He is perfectly suited for pediatrics with his wonderful bedside manner, attentiveness to the children and accessibility to the parents. We used to drive 30+ minutes to see Dr. Eddie! Well worth it. Nowhere will you find a more caring doctor who manages to put the children at ease with his funny sense of humor and magic tricks. We will always be grateful for the fantastic medical care my kids receive from Dr. Salzberg and his amazing partners and staff.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Salzburg for the first time at her 5 yr check up. He was very thorough and took the time to get to know us since we were new patients. My daughter is usually afraid of doctor visits but she quickly warmed up to Dr. S. He gave me great advice on how to get my picky eater to eat dinner and how to get her back to sleeping in her bed (both have worked!) His nurse was also very nice.
