To begin with, my surgery was never scheduled when it was supposed to have been! We had Dr approval for the date and I took a 2 week window from work in order to have the surgery, the ball was dropped, they did not schedule the surgery in fact it didn't happen until 10 days later leaving me with only 4 days recovery time and what was upsetting to me is the person that called me pretending to be the office manager to schedule the surgery was lying because later on I had to speak to the REAL office manager! My physical therapy was never scheduled!! I have had to call multiple times because they didn't send the information over to the physical therapist and they didn't call and get the authorization necessary!! I've been waiting 2 weeks since my 10 week point where I could start having physical therapy after major shoulder surgery!!! Getting dropped in the cracks seems to be a consistent occurrence at this office!! The Dr is nice, office staff needs help!

We saw Dr. Roberts today for my husband's extreme pain and inability to walk. My husband had previously had no issues with Dr. Roberts. However, Dr. Roberts was very impatient today. We were attempting to explain that the physical therapist had asked us to return to Dr. Roberts to let him know the full extent of my husband's problems. However, he immediately cut us off. He was rude and even made a face at me as he left the examining room. We are changing doctors tomorrow.

After surgery the follow up meeting was too long. It would be helpful to see patient after a surgery in a week rather than two weeks. It would help avoid any future problems.

Get a 2nd opinion!!! Had several appts with Dr Roberts and PA. I was left in a room for over 2 hours, staff had forgot that I was in the office. PA continued to push rotor cuff surgery. Received 2nd opinion, no surgery, treated with exercise and the physical therapy. Fully recovered on my own.

Horrible Experience! No Bedside manners starting with the front desk, the Dr. Roberts nurse and Dr. Roberts himself. Wait time was 1 hr and 30 minutes and the appointment lasted 10-15 minutes the most. He came in and look very flustered. He send his assistant which seem very flustered also. We asked her questions and they were rudely answered. We were shocked. Then we were sent to the front to schedule an appointment and the front made us wait without even saying anything to us.

Would not recommend Dr. Roberts; was rude & disrepectful to us in office; did fair job on wife's rotator cuff few yrs ago but developed painful symptoms again. Dr. Roberts refused to acknowledge horrendous pain involved rotator cuff. MRI clearly showed serious issues. He more or less told us nothing more he could do, leave & don't come back! His exact words were, "I wish you well." A more professional orthopedic has since fixed her shoulder right!

Dr. Roberts staff is extremely inefficient and unprofessional. The orders x-rays were not sent twice. It took 3 days for them to schedule an MRI and then only after I complained. I had the impression from the doctor he wanted me scheduled the day I saw him. They failed to renew one prescription and never sent another one to the pharmacy. it took 6 days for them to contact a physical therapist after the doctor told me to begin aggressive physical therapy immediately.

Poorly managed office. At least an hour and a half wait for both of our appointments. The receptionist told me, "it is always like this" when I inquired about rescheduling. If it is always like this make adjustments to provide better care. Patients matter.

Im my opinion, the worst experience I have ever had with a surgeon and his office. Much needed paperwork is handled as slow as possible. They have said they lost paperwork needed for fmla and other things. The incompetence from this office has cost me money and my job. Do not expect anything handled in a timely manner unless it is taking your money. I have had several visits to his office and my longest wait time was over 3 hours for an appointment that was scheduled weeks in advance.

I was left in horrible pain. All I was prescribe was Tylenol3 with a knee surgery. I'm in horrible pain. This doctor don't think in the suffering pain afterwards. Today is barely24 hous after surgery and can't bare this pain. I won't recommend a cruel doctor that sits on a high house. And don't beleive in having his patients free of pain. Never again will this doctor ever will touch me again. Don't recommend Dr Edwards Roberts. In Pasadena, Texas

He is a great dr. Explains everything to you. Good bed side manners. My husband had a rotor cuff surgery it was so bad Dr. Roberts wasn't sure if he could fix it the next step would be shoulder replacement but he got in there and repaired it and is doing great.
