Dr. Edward Oruci, MD

Always a pleasure. Great doctor and very compassionate.

I have been seeing Dr. Oruci for few years he is one of the best I have seen in medical field, his diagnosis are right on the money, he is polite, concerned and would never prescribed tests if not absolutely necessary. I would highly recommend Dr. Oruci

I waited until the office opened after Covid lockdown to call and make a routine office visit. I called the Manhasset office, left messages, spoke to at least one person there. Was told to call Sheena which I did. Sheena did not return my call but a nurse from an entirely different practice in the Plainview Office called me back. I explained that I needed a new script for the Lipitor. The script was sent to the pharmacy. I believe all this happened in December’20. I did not keep trying to schedule with Dr. Oruci. They got my messages and did not return my calls. Now, September 2021, in an office PA exam the EKG shows I have had a septal infarct. In other words…a heart attack.

Dr. Oruci was a kind, patient, understanding, knowledgeable and extremely thorough doctor. I was there for quite awhile being examined, having tests done and never felt rushed. Great techs, nurses and office staff. All very polite, helpful and kind. To sum it up; Great doctor, great office and staff. I am so happy that I already refered a family member and a friend.

Very good listener and precise diagnostician. He does not leave anything to chance. Will recommend further testings and give updates as soon as possible. Pleasant and well groomed. Will recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Oruci appears to be a good physician. The staff he has working is seen as unprofessional. There is one sonographer who I overheard cursing on her cell phone. This same sonographer then acted as if she knew more than the physician and spoke badly about the doctor. I believe this sonographers name is Denise. I cannot continue to see this doctor if he has such poor judgement in who he hires.

Dr Oruci has been my cardiologist for the past 10+ years. I’ve had numerous stress tests, two stents and recently an angiogram. He is very knowledgeable yet listens to my every concern. I feel very comfortable having him oversee such an important part of my health and highly recommended him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Oruci for almost 20 years. In the grand scheme of the patients medical profile , he is not only very knowledgeable from a cardiac point of view but he includes his patients input , and will respect it. He has seen me thru some very difficult situations and his expertise and compassion have literally saved my life. I totally trust and respect his judgement.

I saw Dr. Oruci, a cardiologist, for the first time- 04-28-17 in his Plainview office. He is a very thorough and caring doctor. I could not be happier.

Saw a number of years ago for stent implants. Ten years later all is fine. Great surgeon

No issue with Dr Oruci, but his staff is a different story. Spoke with his secretary Gina who said she needed to consult with the office manager and will call me back and hasn't since. I Left 3 vm with her since our original conversation and not one call was returned. This is not the way you deal with patients and results.
