Simply the best. Look at the credentials. Worth the 5-hour round trip for me for the last 7 years. Staff is outstanding as well.

What Dr Messing may lack in personal skills, he excels in profession skills. I wasn’t looking for someone to hold my hand, I wanted a smart, experienced doctor to save my life. He’s the one you want.

My experience with Dr. Messing, from start to finish, was disappointing. The worst experience was a prostate biopsy. He apparently didn't use any numbing agent or didn't wait for it to take effect. I could feel the long needle going all the way into the prostate each and every one of the 10 or so explorations. It was an agonizing experinece, and I shudder years after just thinking about it. It was absolutely unnecessary. I had a prostate biopsy done by a different physician years before with no significant discomfort. When I asked a physician's assistant for one of Dr. Messing's colleagues about my experience, she said that he probably didn't want to take the time to wait for the numbing agent to work.

1st visit with Dr Messings today. I can see where some may think he is arrogant, rude, and insensitive. I initially found him a bit snippy however, after familiarizing myself with his character, I found that he has so much experience knowledge and decades of seeing patients with terrible conditions that he cuts through the weeds to ensure a professional, deliberate, and extremely thorough assessment of your condition. It avoids confusion on the patient's end on a very serious matter.
