Dr. Edward Meier, MD

After reading most of Dr. Meier's reviews, I think he was having an off-day today. But manners still do matter. In short, this morning he was running an hour late. When I asked his assistant why, she said that they had a few complicated cases this morning. Totally understandable. When I saw Dr. Meier; I asked why I was being seen one hour late. He said that there was traffic and it took him twice as long as his usual driving time. I shared that I do understand when traffic is an issue. In what I consider a testy way he said that "I didn't understand." Hmmm! I explained that his assistant had given me a totally different answer to my question and asked what the real answer was. He sternly said both. Hmmm Part 2! That's when the conversation and the visit ended. I like manners. Being honest and transparent are two of the most important characteristics in business. You offer a service, I pay. I don't like excuses or lies. Since, as I do have a choice, I stood up and left the consultation. Maybe Dr. Meier and his assistant should at least try to get their stories straight and consider starting with "we're sorry we're late." Thanks for reading.

Dr. Meier is an excellent ophthalmologist with great experience in treatment of eye disease. I highly recommend him to patients for eye issues.

I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Meier. I found him to be personable, professional and exceedingly qualified as a physician. My procedures went well and, although my eyes are still healing, I can definitely "see" a distinct difference. I will be sure to recommend Dr. Meier. Vicki R.

I did not have to wait long. He was very friendly. It did not take long for him to check my eyes and do an eye test. He said my eyes looked good and I did fine on the eye test. He ask if I was having any concerns or problems I would like to discuss with him when I said no he then said he would like to see me in a year.

Dr. Meier is very knowledgeable, exact in the execution of his skills, and professional in achieving great results.

Front desk staff is awful.

Dr. Meier obviously did an incredibly outstanding job as I am completing this review on an i-Phone two days after surgery. My near vision in my first eye is already better than before surgery. My distance vision in my first eye was also improved yesterday over what It was prior to surgery - only 24 hours after surgery. This may not be a typical recovery but it does indicate the outstanding skill Dr. Meier has.

Dr. Meier and all his staff are amazing people. They are compassionate about making huge improvements of your eye site. I had both my cataracts removed and new lenses inserted. At 73, I had much needed cataract surgery with Toric implants. Fortuitously, my ophthalmologist highly recommended Dr Meier. We just moved from California so I had no idea what I was getting into. It’s impossible for me to be happier or more grateful for the professional care Dr Meier and his entire staff, and surgery center, provided to me. I asked a lot of questions, called whenever I felt insecure , and was always listened to and not treated like I was just another annoying old lady.

I have been going to Dr. Meier for my eye care. I recently had a cataract removed, and am VERY happy with my pre and post surgical treatment. Dr. Meier is a wonderful eye doctor. I would not go anywhere else.

Visit was a follow up visit 1 yr after cataract surgery performed by Dr Meier. Dr Meier restored my cataract eye vision to 20/20 and after 55 years, I no longer need to wear corrective vision glasses. Dr Meier is expert in his field and a good personable doctor. We have a common interest in Vincent Van Gogh. I suspect he relates to all his patients with a common interest. He cares about his patients. I have complete confidence in his skill and care of my vision health.

He did a great job with my cataract surgery. He explained everything so I had no suprises. I highly recommend him if you need work on your eyes.

Dr. Meier is very nice and through. I had cataracts in both eyes. He made sure I was comfortable with the surgery and I knew what was going to happen. All went well. I already can see without my glasses! He is the Best!!

I had my right eye cataract procedure done this past Tuesday. Right from the beginning, the staff made me feel very comfortable, they were very friendly and put my nerves to ease. Dr. Meier came in and was the same way. He was talking in his relaxed way made me relax and it was painless. That night Dr. Meier called me to find out how I was doing. I haven’t had a doctor do that in years, no make that decades. When I woke up yesterday morning, I couldn’t even tell that I had any work done. No swelling or puffiness and absolutely no pain. Going back this Tuesday to have my left eye cataract procedure done. I am not nervous at all. A real shout out to Dr. Meier and his team. And a special thank you for pretending to laugh at my dumb nervous jokes.

In all my life, I have never had a Dr. call after surgery to check on my condition. He is fantastic!!! I was very apprehensive about the cataract surgery, but it was painless and the staff and Dr Meier was so nice and professional. I will recommend him to anyone for eye surgery.
