Excellent Doctor & Teacher
I was in Hopkins ICU for cardiac patients waiting for a heart transplant for 86 days. That's where I first met Dr Jasper. Very down to earth, answered each and every question I had after reading about heart transplants nightly on Google. Unfortunately or fortunately when I had rejection, COVID, or anything else that brought me back after my 86 days in ICU it was always on his rotation. So now 5hat I have his days in my calendar I know when it's safe to get sick. He's a great member of my dream team at Hopkins. I will miss him as well after I move to South Carolina. Keep up the great work. Thanks for saving my life. I owe you.

I was treated by Dr Kasper in 2003, and given a new therapy for heart failure. My EF was 19. I am on my 4th ICD, and my regular cardiologist has diagnosed me as having fully recovered from dilated cardiomyopathy, currently having an EF of 57. I'm thankful for the treatment Dr Kasper has given me to now live a normal life.

My husband, John Thompson, was a patient of Dr. Kasper for three years. He went to him after a 2012 CT scan revealed an aneurysm. That, combined with Kidney cancer, history of family coronary problems, and a right branch block, convinced him he needed Dr. Kasper. Dr. Kasper never ordered an echocardiogram or angiography, despite John's risks. John died suddenly on 2/2/16 with NEVER diagnosed advanced CAD. And John saw him just 2 months before. John's trust in Dr. Kasper was a fatal mistake.
