Dr. Jung was respectful and listened to my need. He explained exactly how the procedure for my broken neck would proceed, thoroughly offered guidelines for post-operative activity, and presented all that was before me in an understandable way. He was reassuring and reduced my nervousness about the operation. Dr. Jung is truly an intelligent and caring medical professional.

Dr. Jung was very knowledgeable and confident in completing cervical disk replacement when every other doc would only entertain fusion. He had to replace 3 disk in 2 different surgeries. After the final one; no pain and no more blurry vision. Dr Jung's bed side is top notch you know he cares about his patients by how he treated me. Not to mention the pain after surgery was minimal compared to other stories I've heard from others or read online.

Dr. Jung was great. Spent the time explaining the issue and the options. Based on that, I felt very confident going into surgery and the results have been great. Recovery has been right in line with expectations and the pain I had been dealing with is gone.

Dr. Jung performed a micro disc surgery on me recently. Very professional, very qualified, very nice bedside manner.

The whole process from initial consultation to follow up from surgery was very professionally done. Every person on Dr Jung's team was very nice, reassuring and confident. Dr. Jung was able to give me my husband back. He figured out what was wrong with him after so many doctors failing him for 15 years. He did disk replacements and foraminotomy, and fixed my husband. He isn’t pain free, but Dr Jung got half of his pain to go away, and that’s almost pain free for someone with chronic pain. He never gave up on him, he kept trying to figure out what was wrong, and he did. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You gave me my husband back again after 15 years of him being in extreme chronic pain. The man I married is back!

The facility was easy to navigate in and out of. The staff is attentive and accommodating. There were zero glitches on the day of my procedure and I'm happy I chose Dr. Jung.

After months of PT, steroid injections and acupuncture, I was referred to Dr. Jung who recommended ACFD surgery to relieve spinal cord compression causing pain, numbness and tingling in my arm and neck and hand. I'm 3 weeks out post op and am pleased to report that the surgery was a success. Dr. Jung is not only a skillful surgeon, he is also caring and a good listener. At one point, I was feeling anxious and overwhelmed and he took the time to call me personally one evening to hear me share a lot of personal reasons I was fearful. I also want to say that his nurse Allie is also a real gem. Every time I would call or e-mail, she would get in touch right away to calm my fears. They are a great team and I am so grateful to them both.

Surgery was so well performed, as hoped, l was home in 3.5 hours and flying in 5 weeks to go on birding trip!

I consulted with Dr. Jung after an MRI revealed spinal stenosis. Referred pain from nerve root decompression had become progressively worse and a steroid injection provided no relief. Dr. Jung recommended laminotomy surgery to relieve pressure on the nerve roots. A second opinion, which Dr. Jung encouraged confirmed that this was the best course of action. The surgery went smoothly and I left the surgical center pain free. The first two weeks of my recovery were more challenging than they might have been. Because I was pain free, I overdid the instruction that encouraged walking and did not follow the instruction to take the prescribed opioids to 'get ahead of the pain.' This resulted in significant cramping and discomfort. In response, Dr. Jung prescribed a course of steroids and my recovery then improved. By the two week checkup, I was ~90% recovered and Dr. Jung lifted all restrictions. Following the surgery, I have had no referred pain symptoms.

This was my Last resort to relieve pain radiating from my neck down my arm and back. Dr Jung put us at ease and 4 miles exit 162 he was very truthful and honest with the possibility of whether this would work or not. We knew it was not a 100% chance but we felt very safe and hopeful with Dr. Jung. His God-given talent worked amazing to totally hear my nerve pain. We drove from North Idaho to see him and will always use him for any neck or back issues!

After ten years of severe cervical neck pain, Dr. Jung has given me the wonderful gift of being pain-free! Even though I was nervous in having disk replacement surgery, my fears quickly subsided for he spent ample time in reviewing and explaining my MRI and answered all my questions I had for him during the office visit. For several months I suffered from very painful spondylethesis. I tried a cortisone shot in my back with another doctor, to see if that would alleviate the pain. It did nothing. My daughter researched doctors and found Dr. Jung. I made an appointment and Dr. Jung diagnosed the issue and discussed my options in a clear, confident and informative way.I chose to have him perform minimally-invasive decompression surgery between L-4 and L-5, 3 weeks ago. I woke up from surgery with no pain and continue to have no pain. I do have some stiffness due to arthritis, but the pain is no longer there.Throughout the process, Dr.Jung was kind, warm and understanding. His skill level is top notch and his manner is warm and comforting. I must mention that his office nurse, Allie, is also responsive and helpful. My experience was wonderful, even though I needed to have surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Jung.

After months of pain unresolved by PT and cortisone shots, I decided to consult with an orthopedic spine surgeon who specialized in minimally invasive. spine surgery. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Jung who is an excellent surgeon. as well as a thoughtful and caring doctor. He was able to clearly point out the problem and fully explain the procedure, describing the operation, making me confident going forward. After surgery, Dr. Jung made sure I felt comfortable about any concerns that might occur. My recovery has been going great, I'm pain free, and I appreciate his continued encouragement and advice. Dr. Jung is an asset to our medical community and we are lucky to have him here!

Kind, compassionate, extremely smart and gifted that is what this surgeon is. He did a 7 hour surgery on my 70 year old husband and gave him his life back. Tom was on a walker full time up until the surgery. He is doing so amazing now. Back to enjoying life and active again gardening, taking walks, helping our kids just living life actively again!! Please don’t hesitate to utilize this man’s talent. Because he is a very gifted surgeon that really cares about the quality of life of his patients. For almost 5 years I can't walk without pain. There's stabbing pain,numbness and weakness from my hip to my foot. I have to stop every 5 minutes and rest before walking again. Dr. Jung upon seeing my MRI result told me the arteries are pinched by L4 and L5 vertebrae and I must undergo micro-decompression which I immediately agreed because almost everyday the pain is worsening. It was scheduled 3 times but was postponed 3 times too for different reasons. In other words it took almost a year before the procedure was done. the big day for me came, after 4 hours in the OR the surgery was done.I went home after an hour walking alone and praise the Lord I could walk without pain the next day I was already at the mall walking painlessly. Thank you Dr. E.Jung , your God sent!!

Dr. Jung provided thoughtful and professional service. He took the time to review my results (MRI) and provided a recommendation for physical therapy as a first step towards resolution. Unfortunately, the PT did not produce the desired results. We then discussed a surgical intervention. He collaborated with me and explained my options, and risks, in a way that was easily understood. He has a great bedside manner. The surgery was performed using a minimally invasive procedure. I was truly surprised that my pain was easily mitigated with a dose of 2 tablets of acetaminophen the night of surgery and 2 tablets the next morning. I had no further need for pain medication. My recovery was uneventful and I was able to work, a bit, the next day. I attribute this great result to the skill of the surgeon. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Dr. Jung for any spinal surgery. You will find a caring, professional and skilled doctor to get you to better health.
