I was diagnosed with a Vestibular Schwannoma in Nov. 2020. My local ENT referred me to Edward Gardner. Dr.s Gardner and David Connor, Neurosurgeon advised me to have the mass removed. I underwent a crainiotomy at Baptist Health in Little Rock, AR 1/19/21. This is the day my life changed forever. I was a very healthy and active individual prior to surgery. I am now considered disabled. I have a greatly diminished sense of balance. My gait is shaken. I cannot walk without assistance. I have an uncontrollable Parkinson's-like tremor in my left upper extremity. The left side of my face is numb. Eating and swallowing is difficult. Have lost 30 - 40 pounds. I feel like I'm going down fast. I was told I would return to normal in six months to a year. I am as described two and a half years later. It has become clear that these guys literally ruined my life. All of my visions of a happy retirement are gone. Praying I do not lose my marriage of 31 years. DISAPPOINTED!

Dr. Gardner performed a mastoidectomy on me and assisted in my craniotomy in December 2019. He took his time and explained everything carefully so I understood exactly what to expect. He has a great sense of humor that makes you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Gardner.

Dr. Gardner is wonderful! He is very knowageable about you when he enters your room, he talks with you and makes you feel you are important to him! He will give you an honest report on the problem you are having and treat it the best he can for your good. He laughs with you and cares for you and not the money. I wish my family doctor was as good as he is in his profession!

I am not that kind of person who spends time writing good or bad reviews on internet. But Dr. Gardner is such an amazing person that I decided to take time out my schedule to write this review about him. I had tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy surgery with him on one of my ears. He did an amazing job and now, almost 4 weeks post surgery I feel much better than what I expected. He explains details about your problems, possible outcomes, and risks very well. Trust me, he knows what he is doing.
