Dr. Edward Entmacher, MD

Dr. Entmacher is a genius! He's like a Rorschach test in human form- like looking in a mirror. Can you bear to see your reflection this clearly? It's not for the faint of heart, but it is transformative and infinitely rewarding! If you truly desire a positive, lasting change in your emotional health, identity and experience in relationships, you owe it to yourself to work with him!!

Dr. Entmacher is known as a pain in t most places he works. I've been a coworker where he has worked as well as a patient. He doesn't listen to patients very well unless it us something very basic. If your condition is schizo or dissociative oriented then it would be best to look elsewhere.

Update on a negative review I left about dr Entmacher. I was forced to return to dr Entmacher because I could not find a psychiatrist closer to home. Some of the problems we were having were because I was confusing dr Entmacher with my father. Dr Entmacher revealed a piece of personal information which convinced me that he is the total opposite of my father and also that he has personal experience which puts us in a more harmonious place. Our relationship is now very good. Dr Entmacher is now kind, extraordinarily open minded and non judgmental. I find him to be a most helpful and resourceful psychiatrist willing to think outside the box and a real asset.

He fired my son as a patient because he was too dysfunctional to remember his appointment times. He got mad that my son would call to reconfirm the times. Oh...sorry to bother you doctor but aren't you here to help with patient dysfunction. And don't you charge if a patient misses an appointment and refuse to treat until they pay for the missed meeting?

He did offer a few solutions about family problems, however When I talked about my depression he just acted like I had no right to be depressed.and my problems were nothing but they were to me! He did give me medicine for it but I found it hard to talk to him about things that really bothered me after that. He has an know it all attitude. He once prescribed 2medications for me that when combined causes severe liver damage. I went elsewhere and would Never recommend him to anyone .
